I got on the waiting list for season tickets. I'm approximately #2500 of 3500. I have never donated any $$ to TAF. My selection day is Monday, but I looked today and there are many tickets available. Also today I got letter from LSU regarding "one day only" $50 ticket packages. What's happening?

Excitement is at an all time high with Eaux leading the program. Nothing to see here

Good. I hope the fairweather entitled fans dont buy tickets and they leave good seats for us fans who are grateful to just be in tiger stadium and will actually stay all four quarters.

I picked yesterday and didn't get to "upgrade" my seats, but was able to move to an isle seat, which the wife wanted. 9 rows back 6 columns(?) over, but an isle... It did seem like there were a ton available, but none that I would call great seats (there are some sideline seats, but the donations are quite large - wouldn't consider them "starter" seats). There are large amounts of tickets available IN the stadium though.

you are late to the party. huge non renewals this year. LSU for the first time i can remember pushed back the renewal timeline for me twice. then for the first time i ever recall LSU sold mini ticket packages and those packages included either BAMA or UGA games which are unprecedented. You could never get bama tix before like this unless you were a full season ticket holder. let that sink in.

USually the only thing available is single game tix to the rent a wins. I dropped mine after 20 years. much easier now to buy from others at huge discounts and to just games i want with no tradition fund donations. People are speaking with their wallet.

ETA: they also called me asking why we were not renewing. simple answer joe alleva and his search for O.

yep that was last several years of les for me. also traffic, parking(not for me but for others as i had a pass), concessions, some restrooms, piped in music, crap return on investment, joe alleva's ruining gameday etc.

plenty who have had tickets for decades have given them up. hardliners who stayed until the end of games like myself and others. until LSU is seriously dedicated to winning at football again most will stick with the flat screens in HD, any adult drink they want, private bathrooms, AC, no driving, etc at home or friends houses.

Great post and right on. the search that landed Eaux showed us how committed our AD is to excellence on the gridiron.

People are casting their dollar votes for sure. Hopefully the decision makers take notice

You are full of shite. Just trying to start bs. Most likely never had a season ticket in your life. So many liars on here just trying to promote negativity.

Fact is attendance is and will continue to decline all over, not just at lsu, and not just college. Big screen, cost, air, traffic, all changing the landscape of the stadium experience.

But you go with your agenda.

I got rid of 2 but kept 4. Fact: there are a ton of seats available and some very good seats. I’m never seen it like this.

Shocking that Stephen falls for the bait...it was negative, so Stephen is all in. Stephen probably has no clue this is an issue across all sports...but to guys like you, if feels better to single out lsu and blame them. Pathetic.

The tickets for the 50 sale are those crappy upper bleachers that no one wants to sit in; especially not for the games they’re selling them for. This is not a new development

I’ve upgraded and moved around last 5 years . I don’t noticed big difference in available seats this year in the bowl . I picked on Wednesday and couldn’t improve my lot in the bowl but did get two in Skyline
