it was amazing. The LSU futures prices plummeted from $235 to $9 right after McFadden and the Hawgs "brought that wood". Then we backed into the NC when Pitt upset WV as a 27 point dog. I had 10 seats for that one. If Oregon QB had not blown out his knee, I would have made $25G.

I wish I could get a straight answer on this, some say title games are easier to get in, now your saying fans couldnt get tickets.

If LSU is in the title game, prices will be higher than they are even now. If LSU isn't in the title game, prices will be lower. I don't know how else to put it, but LSU brings more people than any other fanbase

I’m not paying what they are asking for those tickets. It’s price gouging, but the market supports it. If you want to pay those prices good for you. I have no hard feelings. Capitalism, they priced me out of the market. It happens.

Yes I took the gamble and bought them, if we don't make I'm expecting to take a loss.

After we made it in last week I thought well, I'll drive up and grab some Game 1 GA tickets in the outfield for my son and I.

I was sadly naive.

Won't be going at those prices.

My buddy had the GA booklet in 2017. I think it was less than $100 for the whole CWS. We walked into the FSU game in the bottom of the 2nd and had great seats in left field.

I made a prediction based on market information at the time, additional tickets came on to the market. From where? Who knows, could be brokers or a nasty secret that venues/teams/promoters don’t want you to know is that they often list directly on the secondary themselves.

I told you what was happening. The brokers were hoarding them. Now they have a shitload of outfield seats to get rid of.

They can still wait it out a bit because they are working with such a big profit margin from where they bought in but prices definitely coming down.

It’s real simple folks, if you have more people wanting something(x) than you have (x) to give than you can charge whatever the frick you want to bc the demand outweighs the supply.

Exactly! LMAO! And if you start out asking too much and nobody buys it, you have to lower your price eventually to sell them. It's just not that hard.

If LSU announces Skenes will not throw Game 1 then that price will drop.

You should rethink about how you view the ticket market before handing out shitty advice next time

I’ve been watching the market. There wasn’t some huge influx in Ticketmaster or stubhub. What’s happening is sellers aren’t getting buyers anymore. The people who jumped on tickets early to make sure they had tickets are done. They got their tickets and are getting there today and tomorrow for the most part. Now sellers trying to sell to people who are willing to wait for cheaper tickets. Demand is down.

Good to see it come down. We waited. We already have tickets for one monday game, still need to get the other game.

We're making the trip since we'll get three games with our teams. I wish we were on opposite sides of the bracket though.

I had 4 extra Ole Miss LSU tickets in 2010 that I was looking to sell. Came across a scalper in front of the Kappa Sig house that offered $10 each. I told him no way I've been hearing what others are offering. We settled on $50 or $60. I was young at the time and was looking for money to finance that debauchery of a weekend. $240 is way better than $40 at 18. Felt like I could do anything with that sum of money hahaha
