How were the new TS upgrades we heard about all off season?

Noticeably better?

Meh?

Annoying?

Didn't really add much to that atmosphere. Maybe it’s better for a bigger game. Even my kids were like “meh”

Should have spent that money on wifi imo

It was a waste of fricking time and money. That money could have been spent on Derek Williams Jr.

A light show against Nicholls is almost as embarrassing as our fans giving Stony Brook a lap of honor and standing ovation

It was awesome. It is a very nice addition to the gameday experience and will be a crowd pick me up and crucial times in big games.

Lights might make a slight impact on recruiting, which helps win games.

I could actually hear and understand the announcer, so that's a plus

True but players want to go to teams that have all the bling

New scoreboard was big and clear which was great for replays. Very minor complaint is facing south end zone I had trouble locating down and distance on the ribbon. Could be just me though.

Music was loud as frick with few people in the stadium. But once people filled up a bit it ate up some of that sound and it was more tolerable for my ears. Announcer was clear.

Lights were underwhelming. Felt like they could have cut all the white lights including the ribbons and it would have been a much better effect. Maybe there’s some tweaking they can do there.

Overall I like it and as mentioned before, it will be great in a tight SECgame

New scoreboard is nice and crisp. Sound is much improved. The echo/bouncing sound was greatly decreased and the PA was easy to understand.

The ribbons were nice, but I think there is room for improvement. They are very bright. At one point there was a Coca Cola ad on the ribbons that was “Coke red”. It was so bright it almost hurt my eyes to look at it. Add motion and especially flashing graphics to the brightness and the ribbons were very distracting at times.

The lights were…OK? I know it’s hard to create purple and gold light with bright LEDs. But the big bright scoreboard and the bright ribbons didn’t do the lights any favors. I think the light experience would be improved if the other sources of light in the stadium were off while the light show was playing. Should be doable and I think it would make a big difference. As it was, it seemed mostly like just flashing lights, not an LSU purple and gold light show.

Overall, though, I think the stadium improvement projects in the offseason turned out well. Some tweaks to fine tune and I think everyone will be happy.

Hopefully we get Florida at home on a foggy night to blind their kicker...

New board was incredible.

New light show for TD’s was alright. Cool the first time, novelty wore off the rest.

Definitely not annoying

The fans demanded the upgrades and now the fans don’t like them.

What matters is winning.

A waste of money.

You can’t even see the gold lights.

Then when it’s all purple (which you can see) they rotate a bank of white lights up top, which makes it difficult to see the purple light.

In short, until used properly (only purple), they suck.
