I don't understand how the hell LSU runs out of fricking water KNOWING the temperature was going to be damn near extreme. I was on the East side and it was brutal.

Fans flee game due to extreme conditions.

It's not often that fans leave games early for reasons other than a blowout, but Saturday's game proved otherwise.

They must not be familiar with LSU's fans and the propensity to watch half a game.

That 2019 game at Vanderbilt had people passing out and paramedics coming in. It was 105 if I remember correctly.

1992. But it seemed hotter in the 2017 Auburn game, and yesterday. These early-season daytime games should be illegal, and I pine for the good ol' days where there were only night games in Tiger Stadium in September --- and that was before abnormal heating

I put a chilled cabbage leaf on my head under my hat and was cool as a cucumber the whole game.

That felt hotter than Auburn/Fournette game.

I think North Endzone is under a magnifying glass.

I always thought the first game after they opened up the east upper deck fo the first time was the hottest game in history. It was so hot up there that I blamed it on the fact that the new concrete still curing.

Kentucky in 2011 was rough for me at 11:00 AM. I had a sunburn that didn’t go away for a few weeks

It was ridiculous. I work outside all day and I can handle the heat. This was bad for me. I can't imagine how bad it was for office workers or the band.

It made it less than enjoyable for sure, but one would have to be a fool to not know what they were signing up for for going out there. If you are 70 and have a heart condition, not a good idea to go. A person that is even reasonable fit and uses some modicum of good sense regarding dress, hydration and time spent outside before the game should be able to mitigate the risk to an acceptable level.

We went to the game, stayed the whole time, we drank a ton of water and sweated a lot. Walked back to the car after the game, turned the AC on and drove back to my daughters apt, listening to the post game show, time well spent. I love Tiger Stadium, makes me feel good to be there, we won, that eased the pain.

They didn't run out of water where I was on lower east, had to hunt for a cold one, but they gave me cups of ice with water twice during the middle of the game (I just asked).

Woodward really needs to take the temperature into consideration when scheduling home games in September. Just ban day games during September.

The East side is literally a safety hazard for LSU employees and fans. LSU needs to remove that potential liability by just not scheduling day games in September.

Not one UCLA sissy that sat in sun left the game due to heat. LSU fans are pussy soft

They also don't have anywhere else to go back to other than a hotel room, so there's that reason too.

Auburn 2015 was hot as frick. Think it was like 95 out, and much hotter in the stadium.

Yep. That's when they gave us the little Gold Towels huh? I had two of them draped over my hat to help shield the sun.

Utah State game in 2019. That year we had family and in TGBFTL and for the less-attended games we would migrate over to the rows right in front of the GG and wave to our nephews.

Saw a dozen+ band members under the stadium being medically treated for heat / sun issues. My last Sept game in daylight. We are too old to be that miserable.

ESPN / ABC should be jailed for allowing Southern teams to play in 100 degree day games
