Somehow always about dick sucking with y’all.

Wade made LSU basketball relevant and we made the tournament every year. That’s the bar for McMahon. It’s that simple really.

No one is rooting against LSU. You made that part up. It’s as stupid as saying you are a bigger fan of McMahon than LSU.

And it’s not about McMahon vs Wade. Is about people who still like Wade vs people who (now) don’t like Wade. The second group pretends to be fans of McMahon just to antagonize the other group.

Don’t pretend like you know what it takes to setup a “professional” system for paying players under the table. You don’t. The FBI wire tap was a fluke most coaches have not and will not ever deal with. And before we hear the “muh burner phone!”, just because you’ve watched a lot of crime dramas doesn’t make you an expert in defeating FBI surveillance either. You aren’t.

Wade will be back in the SEC, maybe as soon as next year with possible upcoming coaching vacancies.

The wailing, gnashing of teeth and torn garments will again become the order of the day

9-9 and trending down.

But a 6 seed, our highest tournament seed since his second year...we would have made the tourney in 2020 as well - I'm not sure what our seed would have been, but it would not have been any better than 6 for sure.

Look, I'm pulling for CMM I want him to succeed because it means LSU is succeeding. Hope he can get there.

mmmm....yeah, I would respectfully disagree on the talented roster part.

Good Lord, you will eat those words. Lucky for you and the other mediocrity lovers, nobody will remember your shitty observation in 20 years.

Wade will be hired by a school serious about winning, and will be hugely successful, and most likely win a championship. I only say most likely because there is a fair amount of good fortune that factors into any NCAA basketball title.

We have an affinity for Wade because he took the program to heights it hasn’t seen in a very long time. He was building LSU into a legit program.

Now it’s not fair to compare McMahon to Wade. 24 will be make it break for McMahon. Showing signs as of late and some good recruiting is a step for him.

We might have the right guy. Let’s see what he does next year with that Pasadena kid.

aving concerns and saying he sucks or Mcloser or predicting 2 SEC wins or ect ect ect are not the same. This was never about Wade vs McMahon . This has always been about the emotionally immature Wade obsessed and Woodward. They have let their anger take over their lives. It’s actually pretty pathetic.so yes there are people who WANT McMahon to lose so they can be right and flip the bird at SW.

Do you honestly believe there are any LSU fans who watch a MBB game and sit there hoping that we lose? I can't imagine thinking that way. I don't accept that. Yes, there are plenty of fans who are pissed that Woodward let Wade go. Yes, there are fans who don't think McMahon will get the job done, but I don't believe there are any fans hoping that we lose.

Then you haven't been paying attention. Yes there have even been posts stating they want McMahon to hurry up and fail so they can hire another coach. Just because you can't fathom that doesn't mean it isn't true. And anyone criticizing Mcmahon his first year with what he inherited is an idiot. Now that is a fact. This board is filled with emotional bitches. Just look at the first few baseball games.

The major difference is Wade was asked to explain himself, the ncaa allegations, and the fbi probe. He refused. Hid behind his lawyers and then when reinstated blatantly lied to LSU. He cooked his own goose. LSU had no choice but to cut ties.

But he also didn’t do anything spectacular either. And for all of the trouble he caused our program I expected more.

There is zero chance of Wade getting to the SEC next year. What opening do you see where Wade would be offered the job? The only possible vacancy would be Vandy, and there is no way they would offer Wade.

Amazing how many of you whiners are fixated on Wade's genitalia.
You can't discuss basketball without someone having flashbacks.

There will be a lot of dominoes falling this year. Lots of big potential openings, Louisville, Indiana, Ohio St., Michigan, etc.

It is certainly possible that SEC coaches may end up at one of these spots, including Oats and Beard. If that happens, yes, I think Wade would be a candidate for those jobs, especially Ole Miss.

Whether or not Wade was guilty is irrelevant. He was asked to come forward and explain/defend himself. He refused. He lawyered up. The admins gave him another shot and a short leash provided Wade could at the least answer some simple questions. He lied. LSU is 1st and foremost an institution of higher learning and must protect that responsibility above all else. When you have ncaa allegations, true or false and then throw in the threat of an fbi investigation they had absolutely no choice but to cut ties. It’s that simple.

This is when you know people are just completely full of shite. The FBI was never investigating Wade, LSU or anything remotely close to that.
