Now hopefully LSU doesn't waste his 3 years with bad seasons.

First contact was two yards behind the LOS.

Thank goodness. That's what I expected Emery to look like. Glad somebody got it.

Seriously, what is Deculus doing in the first clip. He looks excited that he stood up out of his stance, then completely confused as to what to do next. Then, once Kiner has handled everyone, he goes and blocks a guy well behind the play…

He completely whiffed on that play. I think he's consistently awful and we lose nothing by putting him on the bench and letting one of the younger guys play.

Looks like CEH on that touchdown

Even down to the little details like moving the ball to the outside hand away from the defenders. He's like a clone

Note Shanny guide 56 away from the play side but fail to maintain the block.

Dude, no one can “maintain a block” forever. He had a GREAT block on that play! That is a 9 out of 10 block. The only reason his guy came close to getting back in the play is because the RB got stuck in the backfield for a long time. Some of you pussies will whine about anything.

Beast. A hybrid of Dalton Hilliard, Edwards-Helaire, Faulk ?

Perhaps not as good as any of those 3 - YET - But he shows similarity to all 3 of these Tiger greats, in his limited action thus far.

A very promising development for the Tigers

Deculus is so bad

guy has more wtf moments than blocks

i syil don’t know why he tried to get the crowd pumped up after he jumped up from an injury, which he seemed fine by the way…like wtf does that?

lol, I'm convinced Kiner went the wrong way on that play.

No WR or TE to seal block (which would've been the guy he had to spin away from). Koy Moore DID motion to the left (and that was the worst block ever btw). Watch the OL, they sealed that left edge (except somebody missed a LB who would've been in Kiners face).

Ironically, he would've had to have gotten away from 2 defenders no matter which way he went.

Not only vision, and as we now saw strength, he has an instinct for time & angles. Surprising amount of instinct for that to be a freshman. You see it in fr. RBs all the time, making a move too late and getting clobbered because everything is faster. Maybe making a move that gets them into more trouble than they were in to start with. Haven't seen any of that from Kiner.

ETA: referring to TD run, 2nd gif.

Got a gif or time when nabers caught his pass?

I been dying to see him after the raves from media and ppl watching practice. I missed it last night.

What quarter? And what minutes mark?

The whole “I’ve been saying this kid will be/should be blah blah” post is cheap, annoying and played out—- but I’ve been saying before he arrived on campus he will be the next great back. Why he didn’t even see the field against UCLA after the camp he had made me genuinely question this staff’s competency. Especially after the depth hits with Emery and Godwin. Hopefully he’s done enough to earn the start going forward and won’t look back. TDP needs to heal up and wake up.
