They would probably play the games - because of TV contracts - but the games wouldn't count as a Conference games.
LSU needs to get their lawyers on top of this and get ready for a big payday from the conference and each school.
This is something that could easily reach the Supreme Court.

Sankey works at the behest of the presidents. He’s not setting up these meetings or filing these lawsuits without their approval.
These are sophisticated people being guided by top tier attorneys. They didn’t just forget about ABC/ESPN deals. They are accounting for all contingencies.
You mean Presidents like "I am the search" Presidents... Doesn't sound very sophisticated to me...
You hold Presidents of Universities in much higher esteem than they deserve considering they are often appointed by boards or some other good ole boy network mechanism...

So Tenner, UF, UGA, UK, Ole Piss, AM and Mizzou are the members of the SEC executive committee that had to vote to sue LSU and to schedule the vote for Thursday. I do not know who among them voted for this, but it had to be a majority. If all voted to proceed then only 4 more votes would be needed to expel LSU per SEC by laws based on my understanding.

You cannot tell me that 11 of the 16 institutions are behind this. If that is true, we should voluntarily leave.

The TRO hearing is tomorrow. And then the SEC banishing LSU is set for Thursday. This is entirely stupid.

The attorney litigating the TRO on behalf of the SEC last week is this guy:
Who showed up to court as the SEC's lawyer without socks on lmao

They’re issuing threatening press releases disguised as lawsuits.
Don’t have time to go into it but the original complaint made no fricking sense legally. This new amended makes even less. It’s basically threatening LSU without standing at a podium threatening LSU. The media handles the threat dissemination for them.
The judge should dismiss this all with a quickness. It’s literally not a lawsuit.

You are an idiot
top tier attornies? LOL
This is either a coordinated effort to make Congress act on rule changes, and LSU is playing the Villain, OR, these aren't top tier attornies. They are opening up the SEC to massive lawsuits, not the least of which would be a massive damages counter by LSU. They have 100% looked to damage the LSU Brand with all of this being put out there publicly. The Judge alluded to this.
If this is all real, then if these programs do have top counsel, which I'm sure they do, they will see what is happening and understand LSU will Sue, and this will open up Discovery on the entire SEC. I'd imagine most don't want that happening.
I do find it ironic that Texas came out yesterday and removed the player, but said it had nothing to do with this, some other rules violations...LOL. You'll never know what those were, because I'm sure the SEC gave them an easy out.

You may be right about it being the school presidents, probably not the rest of it though.

NGL it's embarrasing as frick how sankey/the SEC are publicly admitting that getting zinged by a trial lawyer has them this tilted.

Maybe the fact that you are always wrong?

I want Nick Saban to issue a Fatwa and tell where the other university teams have done what LSU is accused of and buried the bodies.
