No mater how you slice it, one side of the bracket loses a day to recover pitchers.

All 4 games on saturday.. or
at least have the 1 seed pick a slot, then 2... right now the 4th seeded slot gets the most time. Stupid.

More than that, it going to be nearly impossible for a team to come from the loser's bracket to win a best of 3 on the shortened format.

Oregon State did it in 2018 after losing game 1, but they started on a Saturday, played their Game 7 of the format on Saturday, then had the Finals Series Tues-Thurs (Arkansas foul ball choke on Wednesday).

To compare, if LSU were to lose tomorrow and force a Game 7 again, that would be on Thursday, and the Finals Series would start on Saturday.

More games on prime time. Don’t hate on it too badly. The NCAA baseball tournament is one of the most fairly decided champion of any college sport. You could literally lose 4 times and still win it all. Tons of chances to bounce back.

Great until you are in the finals, and they can pull a starter back early, and you can't because you stated sat PM. If it was earned... fine.

Turn off the game. It’s been this way ever since they went to a championship game. You want 4 games a day?

Sure. Once in the regionals, super regionals, CWS bracket portion and finals.

It is absolutely unfair.

But the CWS is not made to be fair, it is made to be entertaining. It's sad but it is the way it is.

They could make it more fair easily but it would mean moving the championship series to start next Friday so both teams are at their best, but Omaha would probably have less fans. I'd rather that but it's all about the money.

In our case, UF gets a cakewalk to the finals while the two #1 teams of the season have to play each other and hope to go 3-0 somehow.

From the time regional start, through the championship series, yes. It's certainly possibly.

At what times? 10 2 6 10? It just doesn’t work in one ballpark
