Oh Hell no, why would you think that? Oh, that's right because you are thinking practically.

Les doesn't think practically.

I think what will happen is either:

1) Miles does try something different but abandons the plan the first time something doesn't work and reverts back what we all know and loathe, allowing Ole Miss to control the game and ultimately win.

2) Miles does try something different and it does work, but he abandons it the second we get a "comfortable" lead allowing Ole Miss back in the game to steal defeat from the jaws of victory.

I'm not sure which would anger me more.

nope they gave up any idea of change once BH hit the receiver in the back with the first pass last saturday night. I don't recall ever following a team so inept at the quarterback position for as many years as LSU has been. Cam Cameron hasn't shown me shite in his ability to coach up qbs. He's a fraud.

The issue is offensive identity. Who are we? Seems we started as a power run team trying to coddle Harris and bring him along slowly. When the run game was stopped there was no Plan B. We can't change from a power run team to an effective spread team in a week. It has to be practiced and become second nature. At this point it seems like we're throwing plays at the wall and hope they stick.

It doesn't matter at this point. We showed more offense in 6 plays against McNeese than we showed the whole season. NC aspirations are gone, so just go out there and win the game however you can.

I thought they threw (including one sack that was designed to be a pass) on something like 5 out of the first 6 downs last week against Arkansas.

I think they need to pass better, not necessarily more.

A few wrinkles, but not an entirely new offense.

THIS.

LSU gave the fans what they've been bitching for Saturday, and it flat out didn't work.

It wasn't the same old, same old...it was worse.

my understanding is that ole miss has a stellar DL. we have not fared well against good DL's and there is most definitely a "blueprint" for front 7 domination against LSU that ole miss will certainly follow.

therefore, for us to move the ball we will have to take that advantage away from them and let them plug up the holes all they want. IF we can pass block better we can complete some passes.

frankly tho, I have lost confidence in our ability to move the chains because of our blocking and our inability to get plays in on time. we are going backwards. so, even if we attack differently I, sadly, do not envision a favorable result. I have never been less optimistic about LSU football (except the Hallman years).

No. He usually just puts on an emotional show to appease the fans for another extension and raise after an 8-4 season.

Not at all. That was not what the fans have wanted. It was slow, sluggish, and the fans wanted to see quick passes, more plays.

When it came down to it, they only threw more because they were down by 3 touchdowns. It would have been insane to run I-Form toss dives at that point.

I agree with this. I'm more referring to what we saw vs TAMU last year where we used Jennings legs more. QB reads an whatnot.

bullshite

all week people on here begged for Miles to "spread them out with 3 or 4 wide" and that is exactly what we did

and it failed miserably

I seethat you have been watching the same LSU offense that I have over the last several years. If an aggressive play fails I cringe, knowing that it's likely that that tactic will be abandoned. However, that policy does not seem to apply when we run into a brick wall over and over and over...... Without success.
