I guess that makes sense. But I still don’t like it. You would still have one set oriented to the fixed camera. It just bugs me.

Sorry Grayhair. Tiger Stadium is just another stadium in 2025. LSU fans are actually some of the worst. Anybody can support a team when they’re winning…if LSU is losing no fan base bails faster. And the STTDB chant…pure trash.

The atmosphere has gotten lamer and lamer the more they modernize it with piped in music, light shows, not to mention how shitty TGBFTL is these days.

You’re right. I’m actually disappointed in the number of downvotes and amount of posters shitting on your take. I’m not “old”, but I hate the lack of appreciation for existing greatness. My guess is those hating on your words are living comfortably in their steel and glass condo, working from home, and bitching about the line at Starbucks.

Game against Washington was in 1983, not 1982, my good man.

That was MY 2nd game in Tiger Stadium!

This thread is a demonstration of just how soft our “fan base” has become. Karens, all.

They would never have survived the Tiger Stadium dorms.

Wait a minute. Thought fat Scott was a master fundraiser? How'd we incur a $20 million shortfall.

LSU fans who want the old Tiger Stadium back will have to let the new Athletic Director know, with extreme prejudice, how they feel about the matter! With McWoodward finally the frick out, there's a strong chance of a return to the feared Tiger Stadium where the only noise was made by LSU fans yelling loudly and TGBFTL playing the entire game. That's all that's needed and wanted in Tiger Stadium!

You don’t paint “Venture Global” on it. That’s anathema. The soul of TS is not for sale.

And the congregation said, "Amen."

(ETA: Tiger Stadium should never have anything in it or on it that remotely resembles a step in the direction of naming it something like "Kroger Field".)

My first game in TS was in utero(I'm 63) and went to every home game until I moved to Florida for work. The atmosphere at TS has changed and IMHO not for the better, but the world has changed dramatically since then.

Today's generation has the attention span of a house fly so you have to have the flashing lights and pumped in music. They would think that the way TS was in the past is boring and that would give them just another reason to leave at halftime or the 3rd quarter.

The DJ techno music or wtf it’s called is bull shite. There’s some hallowed places that tradition should remain and ring true for the ages

It happens at every legit school and is way better for the younger crowd. Marching bands are always going to be a staple, but times change and nowadays people want to hear a backbeat from time to time. And im not a kid saying this, im pushing 40.

Now as far as some of the songs they play over and over again, that’s a different story.
