Yep.

Fewer, of course...and the prices will be higher than they would have been for UAB, and you may have less options in terms of locations and numbers together but I would be stunned to find anyone who would be willingly to say they came to campus looking to pick up tickets and were left empty handed.

Agreed. You will pay premium for Bama or possibly even A&M but you can get tix for less than face value for almost every game including SEC games.

Some people like the peace of mind to have tix before leaving the house, but if you dont mind grinding you can defintiely get in every game and not get gouged by the TAF/ Tradition Fund.

That's good to know if you happen to be in or near Baton Rouge, but most people don't wait until actual game day to make game plans.

We planned to go to the game from Ellic with no tickets. Budgeted $150 for tickets for 3. Paid $0.00.

How about a simple vow? If you're not dedicated to watching the whole game then sell your ticket(s) before game day.

Non-poor people already have tickets so no one will pay face value.

The ONLY game I've ever seen (last 5 years) that there were next to 0 tickets available was that Arky game in 2011. I've never seen anything like that..it was weird

I've been handed free tickets before plenty of times when bad weather was looming.

Usce comes to mind in 2007

I was with my dad before the game and he got handed 4 free tickets about 30 minutes before kickoff

I really think this is one of the stupidest bitch fests I've ever seen on the rant. The people bitching about people leaving early are the same ones who say that the gameday experience isn't want it used to be and would rather watch from the comfort of their home than go to the game. The ones who call out the students are the same ones who say the students are trashy when they get into games and chant vulgar things.

But at least it means we have nothing to bitch about regarding our play.

The people bitching about fans leaving or not showing up are the same ones who stayed at the tailgate or better yet at their house watching it dry with a beer in hand.

It really is stupid. There are plenty of tickets available.

Plan on going to the game and plan on getting a cheap ticket unless it is a game which obviously is in great demand. Then plan on paying a premium price for a ticket.

Walked right up to the stadium, was offered free ticket almost in mid stride, walked in stadium, band started up.

This is nothing new. Last year my roommate found tickets outside of the stadium for face value for the BAMA GAME! All these couch jockeys bitching about people leaving are simply too damned lazy to go to the game themselves and sit through the whole game.

It really is hard to believe that people truly think cheap tickets are that hard to come by. But I still maintain they know but would rather take the easy way out and bitch at home.

Ya, getting tickets near face or less is not an issue at all when one or both teams have a loss and gets progressively easier after that for obvious reasons.

I limit myself a bit by trying to get West Uppers since I can get into the lower bowl with those.

I go to a couple of games a year and I pretty much always get my tickets around the stadium. (last week I got really lucky and get two suite passes along with parking passes but that is extremely rare).

I've never failed to get tickets and never had to pay a big sum. But I've never gotten them free by walking around the stadium either. (They must be dedicated to wait around just to give away tickets).

I probably always pay a little more than I need to simply because my wife can't relax and enjoy the pre-game festivities until we have tickets in hand. I keep telling here the longer we wait the cheaper the tickets will get.
