Florida and Ole Miss the top tier. Alabama Auburn and Arkansas in that middle tier. The nicest are Moo State fans for obvious reasons.

My worst was 2005 Alabama once the game was over. Between the cops and frat boys heckling us about Katrina which I lived 1000 miles away at the time was way over board. Been to state and ole miss, auburn and Arkansas in Little Rock and a host of bowl games but that light leaving my fear was getting jumped or jail.

most Arkansas fans are fair weather
OU fans are awful in the Big 12. they are for sure the most arrogant.

I forgot about non-conference teams. I actually made the trip to Morgantown in 2011. I thought I had traveled back in time and been dropped off right in the middle of the set for the movie "Deliverance". The only thing missing was one of the Beatty brothers (I always got Ned and Warren confused) taking it up the hind quarters and squealing like a pig. Otherwise, it was eerily similar.

My wife's godparents (83 and 84 years old respectivly) had soft drinks thrown on them by the Ole Miss students. frick them!!!

Really?? I went to the 09 game. Daughter and I had a really good time. All the fans were nice, before and after the game.

I had an awesome time at West Virginia. Tailgated and traded food and drinks with everyone around me.
Drank some moonshine with them too.
Good times.
Plus they sold beer in the stadium.
