The whole nature of the game changed when Lacy dropped that 3rd down

If he scores and put us up 24-17 I think there’s a good chance it would’ve been a shootout until the bell. His career at Lsu has been consistently dropping passes in big time games in the most crucial moments. I am so confused why we ever got this kid from ULL???

Consistent drops of easy balls should be treated like consistent fumbles - sit on the bench.

It changed when we got stuffed 6 times at the goal line running shotgun

Lacey needs to be on the jug machine before practice, during practice, and after practice.

Add in two botched 4th down attempts and you have a totally different game.

We were not stopping FSU’s passing offense, so we needed to convert on offense. Lack of converting on 4th down and key drops mitigated any opportunity to keep up.

Did Hilton get a target all game?

Nah awful playcalling on all those red zone trips in the first half is what really made the difference. Cash those in and you are up 3 scores at half.

He is who he is. A ULL caliber receiver and we have him starting at LSU. Jack Bech was infinitely better

What about Keon Coleman?

Coleman is obviously also much better that doesn’t need to be said. Bech was on the roster though and is and was clearly better than Lacy. Losing Deion Smith hurt too

FSU had several more drops with big pote tial. Lacy was not the issue and i doubt those drops wouldve made a big difference considering what happened in 2nd half

Honestly never understood why he was WR #3 all offseason. Based on what? I remember him gagging several times last season and wondering how he ever got into games. Must be great in practice. Time for Chris Hilton and Sampson.

That drop and the one on the deep pass at the end of the 3rd were the two plays that killed LSU.

Bech was a wonderful clutch receiver for us. BK letting him go does not speak well of BK's judgment.

Bryant had a big one too....both would of been big plays or TDs

We need to play the young hungry freshman Receivers.
Get our supposed to best Oline to block and
Tell JD to launch ?? the ball.
I thought we got better, last year team was better then what we displayed after half time.
I think we should of switched Qb just for a change of pace,
Maybe the team and the receivers would of played more aggressively
