The overall chance isn’t that big of deal. The highest chance at any giving time is 25% and we are 4 days out.

It really is. I gave my wife and 6 year old daughter a pass on it, but explained it to them several months back because my daughter was kind of traumatized by a pretty serious tornado warning we had in the area. So now she’s always checking the rain percent to see if there’s a “tornado coming”. She kinda calm down with it after that.
As for these grown arse men, I don’t ever try to explain it. Just let them sit and worry about nothing all day.

Not worried about the weather hurting the teams on field performance because of the weather but I am worried about it taking a little steam off of the Death Valley home field advantage

Nope. We will be dealing with a tropical wave getting trapped underneath a ridge with nowhere to go. If this scenario plays out rain would persistent into the night and overnight into Sunday
