I don't think he should be trashed, but I also feel he is a bit overrated due to bias. He doesn't have much of a history to judge.

I can agree with the idea of a biased LSU fanbase, but assuming he is willing to come back to college ball, I can not think of a better offensive coordinator candidate in the entire country. The name and narrative alone would create a shite storm of positive energy recruiting the offensive side of the ball.

Bring him in as the "Summer Pass Catching Coordinator" at a minimum.

In October, Rhule said he was sticking with Brady but wanted him to commit more to the running game. Brady, however, never committed to the running game to the level Rhule preferred (at least 30 attempts per game).

But what if your running game sucks? You should keep running it?

Carolina is tied for 23rd at 4 ypc

Ensminger > Brady

Ensminger was great at what he did, and as loyal and devoted a Tiger as it gets... but we saw what his offense did before Brady joined him, and we saw what the offense looked like after Brady joined.

It's not even a comparison as far as the scheme. Brady scheme > Ensminger scheme. Brady development > Ensminger development. Ensminger recruiting >> Brady recruiting.

I thought the Rant has maxed out its retard-ness level years ago but the Brady had nothing to do with 2019 stuff being posted by a ton of people might take the cake

It’s not that he had nothing to do with 2019 it’s that he didn’t really do anything special. He was reinventing the wheel here. He brought modern concepts to an offense that contained Burrow, Jefferson, Chase, Marshall, Helaire and Moss.

There are a lot of guys who could’ve orchestrated that offense. Brady was in the right place at the right time and he was integral in doing what we did that year.

But he’s not some savant. He wasn’t doing anything that Sark wasn’t doing at Bama or what Lane has been doing since he reinvented himself. Anybody who runs a successful spread offense is and has been using the same concepts as Brady. He’s a good coach but without that talent he’s just another guy.

Did Carolina get better or worse with him as OC?

Brady put burrow in a system to maximize his skill set and he had the best year ever. Brady was great with receiver rotations and was a damn good play caller. Red zone offense was amazing as well as 3rd downs. If it was all ensminger than why didn’t it happen in 18? Plus scoring 0 points vs bama yikes. The hate is hilariously sad

Kelly runs a pro spread, Brady runs a pro spread

Brady was here just 2 years ago recruiting in Louisiana, and damn near nabbed the #1 QB in the country Caleb Williams from D.C.

He already knows multiple WRs and RBs from when he coached them in 2019. Even if he doesn't get Williams, he could likely convince Brennan to stay, the only QB in college who knows and has run his offense.

There are several programs right now on the phone trying to get Brady no doubt. Hell I've already seen multiple articles about Brady to Oklahoma to keep Caleb there.

I'm telling yall that this guy is right up Saban's alley. Runs a pro spread and can rehabilitate his image. I'm not telling Kelly how to do his job, the man knows what he's doing, but my God if we let Brady go without even trying, I think we'll have did a great disservice to LSU.

It’s time people on here realize that the program belongs to Kelly now.

He needs to hire who he wants to hire. I trust him. We need to separate ourselves from the past years and move forward. If that means that we skip over Brady then so be it.

because he left LSU after only one year and we've been stuck with trash offense since. It's also funny how they hate the guy because he has suck arse QBs (two QBs that no other teams wanted BTW), and an injury prone starting RB.

Did yall forget that the only change from 2018 to 2019 was Joe Brady?

How much was the TE used before he got here? How much was passing to the RBs? What about RPOs and hot routes? What about the WRs turning from drop kings to having God hands? What about the OL going from below average to the Joe Moore award? What about CEH going from mediocre RB to damn near an All American? The starting RB and TE combined for 102 catches and 1020 yards.
