The offensive line may well scuttle the season...again.

Outside of 2019, the O-line has been a serious problem for this program and this year has the potential to continue in that sad tradition. I think that losses this year will be mostly due to O-line deficiencies.

The good news is that Kelly seems to be the kind of coach to rectify this in fairly short order.

I think he’s already taken great steps to fix this issue. We’ll see.

They’re improved but will they reach that elite status? Honestly, we just need above average O-Line play.

OL will make strides this year and you'll see great signs for optimism moving forward.

2-3 years from now our OL will be elite under Kelly (and Davis for that matter). His track record with OL is well established, one of Kellys best attributes IMO...

OL won't be elite this year, but in 3-4, it'll be awesome

OL improvement basically depends on the transfers and center position.

Hard to say if Campbell will be anything more than the same at LT as we had last year but the fact he moved Wire off that spot already tells me they think he's better at least.

Center position is still the most up in the air spot to me. Shanahan wasn't great by any means but there's a decent chance if Dellinger cant really get going early on there that's going to be a downgrade from last year at that position.

why worry about it, your worry is not going to change the result. Trust the alignment and lets roll.

Brad Davis is a great o line coach and I believe with a full year they will improve tremendously. Still won’t be elite but will be pretty good.

The O-Line finished last year pretty strong as I recall. And they added a decent amount of talent this offseason. Sounds good to me.

As you might recall last year they got a new O-Line coach a month before the season started and had a very inexperienced and not very good OC to help out. Now they have had that same coach (the only position coach returning). I expect that the OL will be the least of our issues this year. Of course that doesn't mean that we will be sack free or be able to run at will as many idiot fans demand.

I think the o-line will be average this year but they take a big step forward next year

It's not ideal to have to start Cambell at LT. Even with all world talent he will need to grow into the position, but all signs point to he will have a great career here.

They might not be great this year but all LSU ever needs is an average line.

I really like the way things are heading. Davis is a great coach and recruiter and the understudy of Sam Pittman and Brian Kelly is the right head coach to get the o line fixed.

They have some great young talent to work with in the way of Cambell, Emory Jones, Bo Bordelon, Fitzgerald West as Freshman and Miles Frazier, Xavier Hill, Dellinger, and Dumervill as Sophomores.

The line may have growing pains this year but the future is looking bright.

they honestly weren't that good in 2019. That offensive production was 100% on Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, CEH and Brady. Burrow was constantly on the move and constantly pressured, with an average QB they may have won 9 games.

Ed's OL recruiting was beyond pitiful and Kelly is left to clean up the mess.

If Dellinger or Turner can manage to just get the ball snapped to the QB itd be nearly impossible for them to be worse than Shanahan.

I honestly hate saying negative stuff like this about any LSU player, esp one that gave great effort, but dear god Shanahan was not very good at blocking & thats kinda important when your an Offensive Lineman in the SEC LOL!!

If every unit plays as well as the oline this year we will probably have a good season.
