The ‘19 line wasn’t all that. Burrow and the skilled guys stole that award for them

Last two seasons our oline has been in terrible shape
because the SC staff and head coach did not require our players to do the work required in the weight room.

That will not be the case this year CBK is requiring the work and S/C Coach Flint is getting our Oline physically ready,
You will not see our Oline or any LSU players getting pushed around, period
No more oline men getting shoved back into the backfield like they were on roller skates
Another great coaching hire by CBK that will show immediate results

The LSU Tigers offensive line has been selected as the 2019 winner of the Joe Moore Award for the Most Outstanding Offensive Line Unit in College Football.

this narrative needs to die. they were good not great.

as if burrow was on the run all the time

line cannot hold forever when receivers are covered

if he was on run all the time we would not have won shite. games are won and lost at the line.

so because he got pressured at times the line was shite? LOL

like no other teams can blitz? that means line was bad?

yeah put burrow out there even with those skill guys with a lesser line and see what woulda happened. sure he can help the line with quick throws at times or scrambles but with no line we lose. plain and simple.

like no other teams QB has to scramble at times. LOL

yup. we have football ignorant fans who just parrot whatever they hear others say with zero thought put into it. see my post above. go back and watch games.

if our line was that bad even the skill guys would not overcome that.

Kelly has emphasized this area of the team.
We have added a better training g system, we have added some older, mature players, sone young studs, and we have a lot of competition across the board. I expect this area of the team will be much improved.

2019 was a solid group, no question. One does not have a record breaking offense with an average O-line. I am concerned that the 2022 iteration will be the weak sister that leads to avoidable losses. Hope I am wrong.

Hope so. Let's hope Dellinger can become a solid center.
