We will not be hitting against the pitching State has every series. One or two hits in any of the first two games and we win all 3. We are close and just got a tough draw 1st series.
The team is very young give Crews, Morgan, Thomas, Bradley, and the rest of those freshmen 3 or 4 weekends and they will be much better in the clutch. Man I’m excited bout this team don’t understand all the Debbie downers.

It won’t be far off. If teams don’t have good ERA, they are getting Ks and. If they don’t K much their BAA is super low. Pick a team other than Missouri and you’ll find studs on staff.

Maybe one or two homers, but we hardly hit at all and we didn’t have many base runners. We were way better today, but we didn’t face those two aces.

Thought Hill did pretty well through 7 but watching those Miss State guys with their control and command made him look like raw prospect in comparison.

It isn't obvious and a breakdown is absolutely necessary.

This was his first SEC weekend EVER. The kid will come around.

He has acknowledged that he is learning to pitch. He is raw when you compare him to guys like Marceaux, Labas, and other guys that we will face. Control has been pretty impressive considering his velocity, though.

his issue is that he has a tendency to hang one every so often.

We’re not going to win many Friday games with our hitting. Switching Hill to Sunday could give a better chance of 2/3 for the weekend.????

Hill 9 hits 6 earned runs
Marceaux 2 hits 0 earned runs
Labas 4 hits 2 earned runs

Production now > potential

He’s started against five guys and already found the 1%? Hell, State’s Friday guy would have beat him (no fault of Marceaux).

Lsu has three capable starters
Miss st looks like they have 2
Vandy may only have 2

LSU can exploit that with better hitting

Unfortunately weather did not help LSU fri and sat

One bad outing, been outstanding except for that. Outside of that one game, Hill and Marceaux. I think they are both very good and I am fine with them being the Friday and Saturday starter whichever way it is.

I have always said Hill is the better pro prospect, Marceaux is the better college pitcher.

Marceaux was very polished coming out of high school. Hill was a dual sport in high school, injured early in 2019 and 2020 covid ended things early. Hill is still learning and could continue to improve.

Marceaux is clearly the best & most consistent starting pitcher we have. But.... the morons on this site only look at Hill’s MLB draft status and potential.

Name them. I havent seen anyone saying hill is currently better than marceaux
