Like Kiffin, Wade's personality and vision are a perfect fit for coaching in this new NIL era of college sports. It goes way beyond just coaching, with the fund raising, recruiting, etc. to build and sustain a successful program these days. It takes a special type of coach to be cut out for it.

Actually, I believe this was his response to LSU, SEC, and NCAA when he was caught on tape blatantly breaking recruiting rules.

Some people have given him a pass in today’s social environment. He has already cheated at least once to gain an unfair advantage. Why will think he will not continue to break the rules if it benefits him?

I just think LSU should rise above the cheating and unethical behavior. Or is the only thing that matters is winning at any cost!

Are you a fan and proud of the 2019 national champion LSU football team? Just a yes or no answer please.

Tried the squeaky clean route with McMahon. How'd that work out? After the last few years of misery, I'll take winning at any cost.

Of course!! And by the way, I was happy for the Dietzel, Saban, and Miles national championships.

Based on PURELY ethical reasoning, I disagree with your post.

However, if you DO NOT CHEAT, you have ZERO chance of winning big in the 2 major sports.

I want LSU to win, and I don't want us to be handicapped by following rules other winning schools don't.

As a fan, I agree 100% with your post.

Perfect example of why our society and values are so messed up. Excellent character, accountability, and honesty used to mean something!! At least, to we baby- boomers anyway!

Do you believe that the people responsible for procuring the services of the great players on the 2019 champions (our coaches and boosters) played by the rules and behaved ETHICALLY while doing so?

I certainly hope so. I don’t remember any recruiting violations or charges impacting that team or coaches.

Do you know of LSU coaches or boosters cheating then? Of what unethical behavior did you part?

Please, please, please don't tell me you believe that Burrow, JJ, Chase, and all the other stars on that team attended LSU STRICTLY for room, board, and tuition.

If you do, i suggest you look at yourself in the mirror while you recite bullshite like that, and make sure you keep a straight face while doing so.

Remember now, it WAS PROVEN a few years prior, that Vadal Alexander's dad was paid illegally by LSU reps, but his other teammates including LEONARD FOURNETTE (wink, wink) weren't.

Face it my man, you are either hopelessly naive, or a hypocrite.

Beckham passing out cash on the field after the championship game to our players was a direct violation of NCAA rules, and got the NCAA "re interested" in our business after that. Does that ring a bell?

But I remember just fine being there in person beating Purdue in double OT and Anthony Wilson's buzzer beater against Memphis St. during the '86 Final Four run. And cursing at the TV as a kid with the Bobby Knight frickery and Nikita Wilson missed turnaround at the buzzer in '87 Elite Eight.

same here. i watched it all on TV as a kid.
