We finally score a TD and the student section (and the rest of the fans) started the STTDB chant. Within 3 plays Bama scores and it was over from there in out.

Call me crazy, but maybe we should do that chant (if we just have to) AFTER we win.

Yeah it was a whole lot of missed throws, missed opportunities, and really questionable 4th down calls. But the energy changed after that come back Bama TD which was merely 3 plays after the chant.

Truth. After that it was bama skidding downhill. And we looked scared again as usual.

The momentum stopped when we tried to score before half and threw a pick.

Everytime BB goes soft with no pressure the QB just STANDS back there for 10 seconds or more and finds someone streaking open. It's so fricking old.

We are worrying about dunking on a K-mart basketball goal and hoisting a kid on a player’s shoulder to shoot a fire extinguisher, while the other team understands there’s still a game going on.

It’s because the youth of today go to the games to be seen. When I was a student there I would literally shove people if they would get in my way to watch football. I didn’t care about selfies and snapshit

Back in the day fans threw their babies down to cheer for the Tigers. That’s where the name DEATH VALLEY really started.

You're close. LSU was moving the ball after that. It all changed after the no-call targeting.

That had nothing to do with our defense allowing Bama to score within a couple of minutes after we scored.

That was the "momentum and vibe" shift.

How could anyone not see it coming.

As soon as we took the lead you just knew Baker’s defense would fold.

As predictable as the sunrise.

As soon as it started, I had that ‘oh shite’ feeling like well that’s going to give Bama another gear to grab. And it did. Our limp biscuit defense coupled with our 504 QB ended it.

But that chant needs to be held till we win something worth a shite and not rent a wins and Moo State.

If the two LSU defenders don't stop running because of a miscommunication then that never happens on that big catch and run

We didn’t go soft it was man coverage it’s bad alignment to have Cooley in man coverage vs the Rico scott.

Was a child killed during one of these celebrations you describe, leading to the stadium being called “Death Valley”? That’s a story I’ve not heard, and it seems a tad insensitive, honestly.

Agree. Cut all that crap out.

The crowd was in it especially when we took the lead in 3rd quarter. Lane, you asked and the crowd was there. You didn’t fulfill your end of the deal. Gonna be hard to get that back man.

Remember the 2003 Georgia game? Georgia scored a late TD on a 90-yard screen pass to tie it 10-10. And then the crowd responded with a deafening “LSU” chant echoing through that stadium. I believe it shifted the momentum back and carried us through to victory, all without the trashy vulgarity of STTDB.

Just saying.

Didn’t like the momentum when we didn’t take points in the first half but gambled on taking a long arse field goal and giving Alabama better field position.
