We'd fare damn well in the latter also.

“Midwestern Hospitality” is one of the biggest lies you’ll hear north of the Mason Dixon. They’re all assholes if you stay longer than a day.

That's wild. There's some serious racism on that board.

One of the more comical things in this country is the sanctimony from northern states about other parts of the country (particularly the South), when they are the most blatantly bigoted people in America.

They're all tolerant and progressive until someone who is the "wrong" color does something to piss them off, like move into their neighborhood. Didn't Iowa still have "Unity" patches on their jerseys today, too?

Did you hear the one about the Iowa Hawkeye that only wore one boot in winter and lost his foot? He heard there was a 50% chance of snow.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen, I’ll be playing in Houston on Thursday…

Look, I’ll try to be rational.

I have relatives from Iowa. They are good people. There’s lots of hard workers in that state. It has a bit of a blue collar feel, similar to that of Louisiana. They are a very prideful fanbase. I’ve seen the Hawkeyes in football a few times, been to Iowa City, and the fans are generally really smart and passionate folks.

I also know every fanbase has its share of trash. LSU does, so does everyone in the SEC, and the entire country.

Now that I’ve spewed all that…the racist shite being thrown around on that site is just, wow! It’s no worse than some of the shite posted here on the daily, but it’s a bit eye opening to see it on other sites. I won’t let it define my opinion of Iowa fan, but there’s some awful shite posted on there.

They’re going to be real upset when they figure out the US taxpayer subsidizes their entire shite state that’s 90% farmland.

Sort of interesting story there. People came down from Iowa to work in timber.
When they built their homes, they built them the way they built them in Iowa-with the windows being narrower.
Needless to say, it got a little hot in those homes in August.

The Mason Dixon Line is not in the Midwest. It was drawn to divide Maryland and PA. I wouldn't consider PA or MD "Midwest". It isn't a line that extends across the country.

I would be embarrassed if my team acted like classless little bitches. Ruined what should’ve been a great moment for them. But you look at their **** coach and you get it.

Don't let two people who made stupid comments speak for the board. The refs were horrible both ways and terribly inconsistent. Nobody paid them off, they were just bad. LSU talks a lot. Mulkey has a track record. It sucks to lose to them but we could have shut them up and didn't. LSU won because of their bench. Plain and simple.

Racism all over, ref complaints, Las Vegas paid off, LSU classless, etc. etc. etc.

I won’t say there is zero to complain about, but not that much.

This board is an embarrassment tonight.

That has been the Big 10’s answer for years about losing to the SEC…”well, at least we are smarter”………they fail to realize it’s an athletic competition, not a chemistry test.

And most of the big 10s academic prowess is overrated as frick. Mostly generic state schools. The fact that they look down on the south and the SEC is pure cope.
