He would have had Standard literally over a barrel to find it for LSU

Like a statewide NIL tax.

It wouldn’t have come out of his own pockets for sure.

He would have had an NIL "deduct box"

Long also required every state employee to direct 5 to 10 percent of each paycheck to his “deduct box,” a mysterious fund that subsidized his political machine. Fearing Long, Louisiana’s sizeable civil-service population contributed at least $1 million to his “deduct box” each year.

Want those oil leases or permits, better put in NIL.
Start doing that and you'll see some NIL reform

If it weren’t for Jeff, Omar Bradley would’ve never been in Tiger Stadium, to intimidate’bama.

Probably imposed a corrupt scheme that would set Louisiana even further back than we already are.

Why do you hate LSU?

Pining for a crooked populist. Louisiana loves its crooked politicians.

Louisiana just needs more billionaires in residence to contribute to the fun, shucks I meant fund. NIL is basically an auction. The highest bidder gets the player. What happens to NIL when revenue sharing kicks in?

So does the United States of America for that matter

Nothing. Boosters/Companies will still be able to pay players…….
