Had he not been a head coach for us, he would immediately alleviate some of the recruiting challenges and sure up the position coach need.

I don't want him anywhere near the program after he quit on the team.

The sad thing is we are still paying him.

He'd definitely have everything at a Red Bull pace.

Agreed. But I'd allow it for the rest of this season so we dont go 7-5.

We’re already paying him why not. He’d turn up the heat recruiting as well.

The press alone would be glorious. Even upstage Coach Prime.

POS nearly destroyed this program. If not for the transfer portal this would have been a 8 year rebuild

If we knew we would get Coach O we had from 2016 -2019 sure.
But Coach O 2020 to now? No thanks.

The Coach O from 2016 who was leaving hardware the backs of every other coach on the staff while plotting his future takeover?
Sure, sounds like a great idea?

O showed us who he was before he left.
Some, apparently learned nothing...

Let’s do what if.

Orgeron as head coach wouldn’t have this problem as he could sub as the Dline coach and lsu would have better personnel

Another: what if current ND HCs wife would have let him come to lsu as DC? She didn’t like O and did good reason. Blocked it

He rebuilt the mess that Chavis left behind
O had his run
He doesn't need to be involved with LSU anymore

Well he has forgotten more about coaching DL and recruiting than anyone on this board. Evidently more than our current staff as well. I don’t think he has any desire to have a full time job anymore and after the clown show he left us with he doesn’t deserve a job here.

No, there is no way. First, why would we pay O more than what he is getting from us now? Second, why would O coach DL when he can get the same amount of money doing nothing?

The bigger issue is character and how he just let things fall apart. There is no way LSU takes him back. Kelly, rightly, should not trust him.

Orgeron as head coach

The guy who was 11-11 in his last two seasons and 8-10 in the SEC and is the reason we had to rebuild our talent?

Newsflash: he was overrated as a Dline coach & recruiter too.
