Things must not have been going well for the Seattle Times.

I’ve been reading their boards the past week. They have major penis envy of the SEC and of course think they are going to boat-race Texas.

Say what you will about the Horns but I hope they bitch slap them

If you put Penix on LSU and Daniels on Washington, Washington would still be undefeated and LSU would have at least 5 losses

So to be clear, our guy won but we are melting because another fanbase is upset that their guy didn’t win.

This is about as pathetic a melt as can be.

You want it to be one way. But it’s the other way.

shoutout to the fella calling out the rampant "East Coast bias" in favor of the quarterback from....... Louisiana State.

No one should care what anyone from Seattle thinks.
They are about 40% oriental (yes I said Oriental) and they know little about America and especially American football. Liberal twerps!

These are some of the most insufferable fans I’ve ever seen. I’m very anti-Washington winning now.

I live in the Pacific NW and have to listen to all these Husky and Duck fans tout their QB. They have no clue. Check out their schedules many poor teams in their pre season. Washington will be beat by two scores by Texas. JD was the best player in America this year. Had he had an average defense he would also qualify as best player on best team!

This place didn't melt down when honey badger didn't win for example

No one thought a DB had even a slight chance.
Melt down. This place if JD had not won.

Just tell them this:

From the Heisman Trophy Trust Mission Statement:
"The Heisman Trophy Trust's mission is to grow the legacy and preserve the integrity of the Heisman Memorial Trophy, which is annually awarded to the OUTSTANDING COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYER in the United States whose performance epitomizes great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work."

Individual stats coupled with strength of schedule don't lie. Wins and losses reflects on the whole team. Who's to say that Daniel's achieving 9-3 with LSU's pitiful defense wasn't actually more difficult to do than going undefeated as a QB at UW this year?

Looks like I am no longer hoping UW wins it. The lack of knowledge expressed in those comments is staggering.

I will now just root against the evil empire and enjoy watching the tigers play well against whisky.
