If the Tigers are up by a couple of scores, or at least moving it up and down the field, we will destroy Texas. If it's tied or zero-zero at end of 1st, it will be a nailbiter.

This has been proven false time and time again. The adjustments Aranda makes are second to none. If we aren’t losing at half, we will with a doubt win. I think Texas’ only change is to score early.

So, if we're kicking their arse, we'll kick their arse; and if it's close, it'll be close. Don't know where else I could find such insightful analysis.

first quarter is not enough time to overcome adversity. the winner of the game will be whoever overcomes the most adversity imo.

I’m pretty sure the end of the 4th typically determines the game.

This isn’t true at all. Big time games like this usually take a quarter just to settle in and let the flow of the game even out. Adrenaline and emotion can keep a team in it for a quarter, but after that, talent and game plan takes over. I look for us to put it on them 2nd and 3rd Quarter. Much like Miami last year. How we were a dog in that game is actually unbelievable.

No it won't. There will be 3 quarters after the 1st.
