WTH are the Coaches thinking actually making in game adjustments, the team getting better through out the game, not giving up and playing to the end????

That shite needs to stop!!!

It's refreshing. Can't recall seeing that in the last couple of years at least!

Honestly it’s been more than a decade I would argue.

It's nice to see. Better than telling players to "execute better", which you always do, non-stop... but that's not an adjustment. Sometimes you have to adjust things SO they can execute better. And that's the adjustments we're seeing, changes where the opponents scheme is making it too damn hard on players. Change it up so they can do their job.

Except on special teams- needs some coaching and some leadership (such as starters leading the charge).

I think Matt House had Kentucky ranked 6th nationally in D one yr. Clearly a rising star.

It boggles the mind that the best job in the country has been held by 2 VILLAGE IDIOTS for the last 15 years, and we've still won 2 Natty's.

There was a thread a few days ago about how we're about to see what LSU would have been if Saban had stayed (under BK), and I wholeheartedly agree.

You are arguing a foolish position. Dave Aranda was the best in the business, and he made adjustments from series to series. He always had the offense off balance. Chief was also very good. I know a lot of knuckleheads on here run Chief down, but the reason his defenses started to struggle a little is that Miles did a piss poor job recruiting linemen. One year Godchaux and LaCouture started with one year combined experience between them - true freshman and true sophomore.

Chavis didn’t recruit at all. It’s on him as well.

Well Matt house got out of calling zone and started playing more man and blitzing and giving Rogers different looks...denbrock stopped calling long developing pass plays and kinda started giving daniels high percentage throws and giving the ball to the rb's

Mike denbrock isn’t Lincoln Riley or Lane Kiffin but he’s shown that he is at least willing to make mid game adjustments based on what the defense is doing and what is working/not working.

Basically He’s not a visionary type play caller but he’s well seasoned and he’s a professional.

I think he was referring more to the offense which outside of 2019 has always struggled with in game adjustments.

You’re correct but I think he is referring to the head coach actually leading the charge for in game adjustments. Something Miles and O were incapable of.

Matt House definately made adjustments fast and often, much like Aranda did.

Denbrock is still slower during in game, and lack of imaginative game planning. I thought for sure we would see a couple reverses and jet sweeps going sideline to sideline as teams this year had great success using that against Miss St.

Special teams, Ha!

What adjustments were made? (I'm not being an arse...I really want to know because I had to watch the game on my phone while at a banquet and could not focus on the details.)

Yeah, I remember Aranda making a lot of second half adjustments. In fact I believe that is his style. He plays it really basic the first half and lulls the offense into false expectations going into the half. Then he hits them with stunts and exotic blitzes when it counts the most in the second half. Some teams are still prepared but most are not.

Offensively they were able to get Nabors into some man coverage situations in the slot and complete quick outs to move the sticks.

Defensively they mixed in some different line stunts and blitzes to keep the qb off balance. We would pretty regularly send 4 or 5, but the 4th and 5th rusher would come from different places
