Let me ask one more question then I'll go away for tonight . Who has the advantage the team with the lite schedule that's rested etc. or the battle tested team . I have heard both arguments .

A lot on here about how we don't play any body . So I thought I would throw some numbers atcha .We cant help that we play in a crappy conference . That's why we schedule 2 Sec teams or 1 and Notre Dame every year.

* In the last 5 years Clemson is 69-4 overall .

* 10-2 vs the sec with both losses coming to Bama in the
playoffs .
Wins over Oklahoma, OSU (twice ), Notre Dame (twice ) .

We have the #1 recruiting class in the country coming in and over 80 freshman and sophmores on scholorship.

I am not saying that they are better than LSU this year. I am saying we have a great program and step up in most big games . This will be the year to get us because of our inexperience on defense and your crazy good offense . We are here to stay and with Bama on the down swing a little bit you might see us again next year in the playoff . Good luck it I hope it's a good game .

This is the thing you dummies don't get. You play a ridiculously easy schedule. It's easier on your team, it's easier on your coaches. It's easier from a physicality standpoint. It's easier from a recovery standpoint. It's easier from a mental standpoint.

Then, you have a play a few tough games in the playoffs.

VS.

SEC teams having to play difficult teams week in and week out. The physicality is harder as is the recovery. Our teams get beat up. By the time we get to the playoffs, we've had to endure a much more difficult road to get there. PERIOD.

So, it is so surprising that Clemson does well when they've had cupcakes all year? Sure, you're good enough to beat SEC teams. But, if you were in our conference, you wouldn't be 69-4. You likely would not have made the playoffs as often either. The SEC schedule wears you down. You shouldn't be rewarded for blowing out high school teams, and bottom dweller SEC teams like SC and AM. What are they, 7th, 8th best teams in the SEC. Boy that's something to brag about.

The point is, by having only to get up and play a few times a year, your success rate is going to be higher. That's a fact. But try going Florida, Auburn, Alabama in a row. Think having to navigate that had something to do with Ole Miss?

Would Jesus be considered a walk-on or does Dabo have him on scholarship?

It's easier to prepare for one or two hard games during the season and then go all out for two playoff games, just sayin'.

Your conference sucks we play teams like you 4-5 times a year. You play hard teams in the playoffs healthy and well rested since your schedule is a breeze. Really no comparison any given day any team can beat any team especially if one team isn't taking the other one seriously. Clemson pussied out from playing in the SEC they want no part

So if your coach leaves you for the SEC, what does that do to the Clemson program?

I respect what your program has been able to do the last 5 years, 4 title game appearances in 5 years is impressive. The fact that you beat Alabama 2 out of 3 National Championships is impressive. I respect your coach, he’s done a remarkable job.

That said, it’s true you haven’t played anyone. The rest of the ACC is trash. Do you really think Clemson can go undefeated and emerge as top 4 playoff team every season with an SEC schedule?

You don't. Sorry. Your record in isolated games notwithstanding, there are 7-10 teams who would be undefeated given the luxury of your ACC schedule this year.

What does that say about your team?
Not much.
It simply says your opponents, until the CFP, are cupcakes.

Uh, ND wins don’t count as much on here as you think they do.

Klempson is a nice program & got some breaks last night that helped get the W.

Let’s not pretend that your team would win 29 in a row playing an SEC schedule.

Much respect for Clemson but you need to understand that with each passing year, college football dynasties become fewer. The parody and coaching turn over makes it very difficult to stay on top.

Enjoy it while you can. It doesn’t last long

Conceited little $hit.

So you think you're going to lose and still 'claim' program superiority.

Hope it's a beat down, if not LSU is still a superior 21st century program.

I don't know what kind of future Clemson has; I don't know if LSU will beat Clemson; But I do know, no matter what happens in two weeks you are still going to be an idiot!

I'm not trying to be mean, it is what it is!

And, despite that, if Clemson wins Jan 13, they will be acknowledged as the 2019 CFB National Champions. But, because of LSU's schedule this year, and the way LSU has won its games, and the players and coaches on this LSU team (with all their stats and accumulated awards), if LSU wins Jan 13, they are in the discussion for GOAT team in the history of college football.

And that's the difference between LSU and Clemson.

A record of 69-4 and 2 of the past 3 championships says a lot. You likely would not have that record in the SEC. Still, playing a weaker schedule doesn't mean your teams don't deserve the credit they have earned. I am glad we are playing you for the championship. Beating the team that has been the best leaves no doubt! We will leave no doubt on the 13th!

The ACC has always sucked at the football. At least Florida State had to play Florida and Miami every year.

You're this decades' Free Shoes University. Congrats.
