Last Undefeated College Baseball Season
As of the latest available information, no college baseball team has gone undefeated throughout an entire season, including the College World Series. The closest records show teams that have achieved undefeated status during their College World Series championship runs, such as UCLA in 2013 and Southern California in 1968.
These teams won every game they played during their respective College World Series tournaments but did not maintain an undefeated record throughout the entire regular season and playoffs.
UCLA (2013): Went undefeated in the College World Series with a 5-0 record.
Southern California (1968): Also went undefeated in the College World Series with a 5-0 record.
For a complete undefeated season including playoffs, no s

On top of everything else, burreaux comes out as a racist. I don't think that shocks anyone.

How did you possibly manage to survive last season?

So, winning almost 90% of your games being lucky? Could you score 90% on an exam just by being lucky? In what world could that happen?

My God some of you fricks on the Rant are dumb as shite. 30-4, 10-3 in the SEC, lose one game on the road, and we “aren’t very good?” You are dumb as frick

It's a good thing some of you people don't follow Major League Baseball. You would literally go insane.

We are relying on a true freshman in the OF and at leadoff, we don't have a solid answer at 3B, and outside of Anderson (who only has a semi year experience in SEC play at best)..an entire pitching staff that is big on upside, but has very little bigtime experience. Guidry hasn't played so you can't count him.
They will grow, but this is most likely a super regional year at best. Hopefully it starts coming together by May and maybe things click right and we make it to Omaha, but I don't see 2 wins there with this staff.

Care to explain why college football and college baseball are polar opposites in roster makeup?
Posted on 4/12/25 at 12:21 pm to Spasweezy
You sir have no idea about which you speak.
This is a damn strong baseball team. The SEC is a very loaded conference and baseball is what it is. Each game stands on its own.
I imagine you were a truly miserable SOB on Sunday night in June of 2023 only to be crowing less than 24 hours later.

Making some season ending prediction over one conference loss against a top 10 opponent on the road is stupid and tells me you haven’t been watching LSU baseball for that long.
It doesn’t bother me that much but it’s just frustrating to watch a game they we were never in from start to finish

Why are they polar opposites in terms of makeup?
It's the same way in high school ball. For whatever reason, the black kids seem more drawn to football and basketball than they are to baseball. The white kids are .more drawn to baseball than basketball. Both groups have equal opportunities at each sport. Why do black kids choose basketball over baseball?
In the past, more of the black kids also chose MLB over college baseball also, but those numbers are gradually changing, perhaps because of NIL, perhaps because the college game has become more of a pathway to MLB.
Care to answer my question?
