Naw it was clearly in the routine. But the entire routine just sucked. They actually have way too many people in their band. It makes everything so cluttered.

I keep hearing how much the game meant to FSU and that they wanted it more

Did you not see FSU coach acting like he just won the Natty? same with the players? Did you not read the coach's Post game comments?

HE MOST certainly wanted this big game for him and his team. He pretty much said it. He was super excited and emphasized to the media post game they wanted this game....LSU, in the Dome, and the only game of the day and night. Center stage.

I won't do the homework but read his post-game comments. Game was HUGE for FSU growth. He pretty much said as much. Go read the post game.

FSU playing Neck so much should absolutely embarrass LSU administration. It’s basically mocking us at this point.

Austin sports talk guys spent 10 min today talking about how LSU needs to bring back Neck ASAP. Several of them had been in Tiger Stadium to hear and see it and they talked about the great atmosphere it created.

I sat directly across from both bands. I could hear the FSU band, I could not hear the LSU band.

was sitting across the field from both bands. Our band blew them out of the water in the stadium. But the drum major dropping his stick was terrible.

Yeah. They played the worst of the 35 different Avengera themes after every play.

This game meant alot and I mean alot to FSU. Year 3 of our rebuild. Not won a opening game since 2016. This was huge deal for FSU.

This. ACC is a weak conference. Pull off an upset against Clemson and with a good record you're likely in the playoffs. Beating an SEC school in a hostile environment in the opener looks really good on the resume.

Playoff committee hates 2 SEC schools in the playoffs so anything can happen.

During pregame, band leader dropped the baton before the band did the pregame salute

And also one of the band members near the end zone took a hard left when he should have kept going straight, almost ran into another person, I said man this isn’t giving me good vibes to start the night. Turns out the rest of the game followed the tone set by the band

I’m a TGBFTL member from the late 80’s.

I hate to say it but the current band has really declined. It’s been a gradual slide for a number of years. I attribute it to not having a career Band director anymore. They go through directors so fast I can’t even keep up with it anymore.

Their sound, music play list, drill, all of it just seems like it has really declined. The fans don’t help because of how much traditional music they’ve gotten banned.

Me and my friends kept saying it sounds like a FSU home game. That's embarrassing as frick when we're playing in nola.

Well, we could have obliged them with our spin on this.

They may be able to play it, but we have the lovely lyrics that could have inspired our team.

Our fans did the gator chomp when we played FL, so why not do something similar by ruining their song and seize the moment? Do we really need a good play of our own to serenade the enemy?
