He’s a dumbass no matter what he did or has done for LSU. I’m not going to give him a pass because he played here.

He made an idiotic dumb mistake but we’re just going to ignore all he’s done for this program? He put in blood sweat and hard work for this program for 3 years and all of a sudden ppl are calling for him to be banned from all LSU events? Smh thought we were better than that

None of this makes him immune from criticism from behaving like a careless moron.

Of course they do. He's paying them.

If you can show me where I said anything about him being an LSU player and deserving a pass because of that, I would be happy to discuss it with you.

If he loves the program so much, he needs to develop a sense of self awareness that ordinary people possess to not do outrageous, attention-grabbing things that damage the program.

if the stories are true of him taking center stage while O was addressing the team post game, continually interrupting CEO, I would have de facto banned him for that.

We need a sticky like there was on Danielson saying that any new OBJ threads will be whacked. This is getting beyond ridiculous.

OBJ needs to start acting right before he is let back around our football program. He cannot be trusted around LSU student athletes at this point and time.

There's an important precedent about to be set - it will either prevent or promote future bad behavior. By not condemning it, you're condoning it.

He acted like a fricking idiot and took the spotlight off the players who actually won the title. I hope he is banned (from field/locker room) from all future major events

You're right. Just because he played football, he should have free reign to do whatever he wants and be free from any criticism.

THANK YOU! Glad too see there are some rational fans here still. OBJ was a beast for us and all is forgiven!

You are in the very smallest of the minority with your opinion. He did this to himself. When I saw the video of him shouting in the locker room after the win over Coach O, It was hard to watch. He made it about himself and is acting like a little entitled bitch.

If he was an X Bama player you would be blasting him in all likelihood
true, and that's how you can tell the clear-thinkers from the blind homers.

If Julio Jones was on the field and in the Alabama locker room after a national championship victory and did the stuff OBJ did, this board would be DESTROYING him as an immature and selfish idiot.

But OBJ once wore purple and gold, so this board is blinded.

I’ve done tons of stupid shite when I was fricked up too

It's more than that. It's likely that nothing comes from the whole cashgate incident, but what if it does? Then is it still just a matter of "doing stupid shite when he was fricked up?" The NCAA will investigate. They have no choice. Hopefully, it will be as simple as LSU making sure all of the money was returned (that went to guys who are still eligible to play) and distancing themselves from OBJ for the foreseeable future, but we won't know for a while.

Like you haven’t done stupid things while your drunk it fricking happens. A couple of mistakes in one day doesn’t mean he should be banned from future LSU events that’s extreme
