Kevin Faulk is a more popular name than Robinson. I promise you he would lock up the in state talent. One of the greatest Tigers ever and played in the NFL under one of the best coaches. Either way, he is a huge addition to the program. Besides, it looks like Robinson wants to leave anyways.

I don't see him going stright to one of the 10 coaches. It's not the apocolypse if he does, but probably little too much of a risk.
I do see him going into an admin role for simultaneous vetting for a future coaching role, even if just for 1 yr, and adjustment to the role.
Hell, do the same for Mawae. Shadow staff recruiting, name/brand recognition, and OTJ learning then they can graduate up to coaching.

Idk, Frank was a damn good coach as well. fricking Ed didn't even know which RB was in the game, so someone is making those calls. I think it helps to be able to do both.

Those same kids sure as hell don't know who Robinson is. Faulk just retired 5 years ago. I'm sure those kids watched Superbowls with Faulk playing in them.
