We did too. But we lived so close we went back to the Box, parked back in HR Village right by the gate and went back in.

Good luck to him and his family. He gave us some good years at LSU. I hope that he is able to get his neck issues worked out, so that he can have an enjoyable retirement.

Paul deserves a plaque in Hoover.

Unfortunately for LSU, the most important season starts the week after Hoover.

Goddamn, what a fricking dickhole. The guy is leaving and it is way beyond time. Be grateful for what he did here.

Why do people need to be grateful? It was a job and one Paul was paid a lot of money to do. I’ll never get the people that treat these guys like servicemen

I definitely dont think people need to be grateful. But its fine to say thanks. It was a helluva career and he was here a long time. As long as my rant career. Which is crazy.

Absolutely

He brought quality kids here and conducted the business of the team in a quality way. I wish we could say the same about all NCAA programs.

He is a good man.

The game the other night against Oregon to win it and advance has to be in the discussion as far as LSU playoff ball goes.

The purpose of the thread is literally to thank the guy for coaching here. Yeah, he was paid a lot of money and he also did good things for the school.

Why click the thread and post to be a dickhole? My last post clearly depicts where I stood with him continuing as our coach, but I dont see the need to be a dick in a thread meant to celebrate the guy's accomplishments for the team we all follow.

No one said a single word about him being a serviceman. What an absolute ridiculous fricking comparison.

Have you never left a job and been thanked for the work you did? You must be a pretty shite employee if you haven't.

Thanks for the winning, and some of the great memories of Tiger baseball you gave us while being a classy coach.

Wish CPM good health and a long life ahead!

LosTigres is correct. This team could not get hot and go on a streak. Our ace ended up with a 7-7 record. We totally overachieved making it to the Supers when we all had doubts we'd even make the SEC and NCAA tourneys. But, those two wins over host 1-seed Oregon and especially the 9-8 finale with like 5 lead changes was what makes college baseball fun. Would have been great to surf that magic to stun the Vols but it just wasn't our year. Thanks Tigers - enjoyed it!

I’ll miss playing the military academies and the salute to those that serve at the games.

Thanks Paul.

I was behind home plate on the throw from right field. What a play! I’ll never forget it.
