Do we just promote Nolan Cain to head coach if he leaves?

Hmmm, that would get him off of third base.

If CPM goes:

What about Tim Corbin from Vanderbilt......he has done more with less. Vanderbilt -Private University....small recruiting grounds / handcuffed / and has won it all.

With LSU's talent what could he do?

Sully controls the bus a lot better, less players injured by it being run over. Also doesn't pout as much in the dugout

I honestly think Canno at the helm would be better for this team. They need a positive leader in the worst way. It's no coincidence LSU rolls through the regular season every year only to fold at home to Houston, Stony Brook and Coastal Carolina. They react to pressure just like their coach.

He had the #1 team in the country in 2007 I beleive, with as much or more talent than any LSU team, and he lost in the regionals. He was the poster boy for choking until the last 3 years

And that's an argument for Sully though. He gets talent at UF without much advantage to recruit them there.

Florida has always gotten talent, though, because, well, they play in Florida. Andy Lopez built that program

Just like Mike, always have since back in school with him in the 80's. Guess I just like the guy. He's not a bad coach either

Just saw on Twitter that he is getting paid less than Nikki
Les Miles is paid less by LSU than Nikki Caldwell.

His LSU salary is $300,000 and her LSU salary is $350,000, which is the same as Joe Alleva's LSU salary. This is as of 2013 which is the most recent data I can find so their salaries may have changed. Louisiana Employee Salaries

Mainieri's LSU salary is $250,000.

The biggest part of Miles' and Mainieri's compensation comes from TAF and from radio/TV contracts.
