I wouldn't blame him for taking a DC position. I would blame him for taking the DC position at Tennessee.

He took the LSU job so his wife and kids would be closer to her home. He’s also closer to Houston (his home). Don’t see him leaving for Tennessee

could be a blessing in disguise, UNC ran for 1000 yards on his lbs. If he heads there, just hurry up and grab Travis Williams and we would be more than fine there.

I’m not leaving if I’m Blake Baker.
His current job pays well, is relatively stress free, loaded with talent and will make him look like a genius with slight overall improvement from last season..

You people conveniently leave out the fact that Baker coached a top 20 defense in 2019.. and his 2 best defensive players opted out in 2020. Also, linebackers aren’t the only position that running backs gain yards on.. moron

All this will do is get him a raise at LSU. He knows Tennessee will be a shite show and his wife went to LSU and is back home. You don’t make the boss lady angry for a career killing job at the dumpster fire that is Rocky Top.
