So you think one player is the sole reason LSU won a championship in 23 huh?

Crews, Morgan, Tommy, Dugas, Floyd none of them had anything to do in helping win that title according to you? Skenes did it all by himself smh. Freaking idiots on this board man

We lost to a midweek game to an unranked opponent 13-3, We scored off of 3 solo homers in that game. Last night we scored on 3 solo homers against Tenn. We are not exactly an offensive powerhouse at this point and We lack depth on the mound. Reality is we are the 5th or 6th best team in the SEC.

It’s pretty equal this year as the games have shown. Tennessee might have 1-2 more arms available in their bullpen, but that’s about it.

The teams this year are pretty even. They may have a bit more bullpen depth. Jay has only been here for 3 seasons, and he already had one better team than tony. I cant imagine anyone expected his first team to be better. Hell, have any of yall looked at tonys first 3 years in knoxville

You’ve made that abundantly obvious

but I know enough about sports in general to know this!

Thinking that the way baseball is played and strategy behind it is even remotely comparable to any other sport is why 90% of this board gets laughed at during baseball season. Congrats on putting yourself in that number

It's probably slightly better. Their lineup is better top to bottom no doubt. LSU is in a team wide funk at the plate right now and everyone is pressing because nobody is really hitting consistently. It's part of baseball. Pitching wise, we have some big league arms that just aren't ready for the spotlight. Hopefully they get ready soon or we may find it hard to advance through a long regional series

LSU has insane amounts of talent, but Tony V gets every iota of his guys and Jay doesn't.

So Tn is better in all 3 major sports and dominates LSU.

They have the best AD in the country. Not a surprise where they are when you have that leadership at top.

I can handle Vitellos antics. It's the pitching coach that rubs me wrong

Hitting- Tenn
Pitching- Tenn
Defense- LSU

I think LSU’s bats wake up today. Doyle and Phillips are 2 MLB arms that pitched really well. Good pitching beats good hitting.

Tennessee has given up an insane amount of steals this year. Catcher is very much a weak spot for them
