That's the gist of what we did. It wasn't going well in the living room. I watch late games in the office and the wife in the bedroom. We watched all of 2023 from the same spots on the couch so we tried that but we had to go back to usual in the 9th. Wasn't going to frick that up to celebrate together until after the last out.

I’ve worn the same 2023 t shirt that says “National Champions” during each of LSU’s 3 games. Won’t wash.
On the morning of the 2011 NC game I used blue after shave. I switch between blue and green. After that game I realized blue = sad and green = money. So, I always use green on game day.
Big, stuffed Mike is placed in front of TV during the game.

Right after we go up 2-1 I realized I was watching the game on YouTube and not on our favorite professor of economics page. Thought for a split second about switching over but decided against because we were up.

I changed my shirt to my "lucky comeback shirt" that we wore to the USCe game 2 years ago (Gavin dugas grand slam comeback win...) I guess it worked!

My son and I went. We’re undefeated in post season baseball game attendance. It’s why we made the trip again this year.
Also, I’ve had my entire family here since Sunday, buying four tickets to the games. I’m accepting godundme donations from Tiger fans to help now

Around the 7th I decided that we only needed to win 1 game out of 2 and just sat back and chilled out to enjoy the wheels coming off the train wreck.

During the bottom of the 7th I had to turn the TV off to put the kids to bed, turned the TV back on to see Hernandez' at-bat in the 8th. I missed seeing us lose the lead, and came back before Jones tied it back-up and watched the rest.
During Alloy's last at-bat in the top of the 9th, the wife had to step out to calm down our youngest (been battling sleep regression the past few weeks) and came back out to SVP talking about the game. Wife missed the same things I did above, but then also missed the classic Arkansas Omaha baseball

Top 9th I realized I didn’t have a drink in my hand. Ran in and made a couple of vodka martinis and sat back down just as the bottom of the inning started.
All post season, I’d had the same drink during all the night games.

I kept running out of beer in my house and would have to run to my shop to get more. Top of 7th I ran out again and said, frick it that is enough drinking. Bottom of 7th I ran out and got 6 more beers.

I was coaching 7/8’s for most of the game last night. Wearing our teams gear. 5-5 tie against a team that blasted us 18-2 earlier in the year. We’re hitting our stride with playoffs next week.
Anyway
Came home for like the 8th. Kept my same clothes on. Then switched to some black shorts and striped LSU polo I wore the first 2 games of Omaha. Unwashed. Baby spit up on the shorts. Smells like shite. But we ride.
