If you look, the guy who tweeted actually has a small sports news site and he is based in Ohio. His past indicates he shoots it straight and reports the news. So one of two things are most likely at play.

#1 He legitimately knows somebody connected to the situation because he's an Ohio guy, and he somehow has the scoop.

#2 He's going out on a limb hoping he is right, to make a name for himself. The problem with this theory is that he risk tarnishing his fledgling sports news website for being full of shite.
