It's a shame, the students/some adults adults nowadays are spoiled!!! They haven't experienced teams from the 80's early 90's that flat out sucked. I remember laying down on the bleachers in the SEZ when I was a kid, but never once did we ever leave. Things are taking for granted now. What was once the most feared venue has become an absolute joke. It's not all on the students, but it starts there. As they graduate and become season ticket holders, the trend stays the same. There needs to be some incentive to correct this trend, if it doesn't change.....I fear that those days of Old Tiger Stadium will just be a memory.

Or just alter it like South Carolinas so that students get credit when there is 5 minutes left in the game not when you first walk in.

I remember sitting through basically a hurricane in 88 when the u rolled up and blasted us 44-3 I was there in 93 covered in blankets when arky beat us to deny us a chance at a bowl I was also there in 97 in freezing rain when Norte dame came in a beat us. Stayed until there were zeros on the clock for all of those games. I love LSU and these young spoiled Pansy's don't it's plain and simple. They're there to be with the in crowd or to chase tail. I never thought I'd see the day when we are having a discussion about ppl leaving tiger stadium early. Something has to be done lower ticket prices take away some corporate tickets maybe even shrink the student section which btw is 3x bigger than it used to be. But we have to find a way to bring our stadium back .

I think there should be some kind of punishment for LSU students that abuse the privilege of free tickets. There are plenty of us hard working people out there who have never had the oppurtunity to sit in that section, and would love to make some noise throughout the whole game! Out of all of the excuses on here, I think if there was a way that LSU could monitor who's leaving early, and allow others to enter in their place, maybe they won't be so eager to give up their seats. LSU still gets the ticket money and I'm sure a good amount of fans would love to see the second half for free.

They aren't free for students. Its about a $100 for the whole season. To a broke college student, that can be a lot of money.

Student section will provide a ton of noise in the biggest games... Ole Miss, Alabama, and Florida.

I'm way older than a millennial, but I can tell you the piped in music and those stupid commercials (the car race) suck. It makes LSU sound like just a homogenized copy cat of every other school. LSU is unique, we don't want to be like the other programs.
Does anybody know if the games are longer than before all of the TV contracts?
I'm sure the clamp down on the drinking also has a lot to do with it also.
