He has to play....Javonte and his family have done "everything LSU has asked of them." They have met with the administration, denied any wrong doing, and according to a few sources, he's been cleared by the NCAA. If they don't let him play, they look like fricking hypocrites because he's done what they asked of him. This whole situation is so arse-backwards. #FreeWillWade

Last night they said this was false. He’s been cleared by LSU. But they haven’t proven it to the NCAA. And bc they made a big deal out of the whole thing and brought the NCAA to town, the NCAA has to have absolute proof that Smart is cleared now

They brought the NCAA to town and now the NCAA wants proof that Smart is cleared. Which is not as easy as LSU clearing him. If they didn’t bring the NCAA here to ambush Will Wade, this wouldn’t have been an issue

My favorite part of this is nobody was forcing or even recommending LSU to sit Smart. So common sense says there's nobody LSU has to get clearance with to let Smart play. They're just fighting amongst themselves behind closed doors.
I love this University, but I'm so embarrassed by the morons that are allowed to run this University.

The decision was made when they suspended him. No one has been working to try and get him reinstated - all of these reports since yesterday afternoon are a PR campaign. They've never given a shite about the student athlete, and they sure didn't start caring yesterday.

I don't think it has ever been called a suspension in regards to Smart. He was merely "withheld from play" out of caution or something.

My take, they are trying to figure out hot to clear Smart without clearing CWW. The admins are so egotistical that they dont want to say that CWW is right.
