Where the frick does he get all that from? Who lets Stephen A even talk about college football?

Being respected is more important than being liked when it comes to coaching.

Before the 2018 Miami game, Jonathan Vilma went on ESPN and said Miami would blow LSU out because he had sources inside LSU's locker room that told him the team hated Orgeron and didn't want to play for him.

Say what you will about the downfall of O, but those 18 and 19 teams played their asses off for him.

The point being these national guys talk out of their asses to fill the 24-hour demand for takes. Please ignore it.

Guess that explains the game ball the players chose to give him. Makes sense

Tough titties to any cry babies in the program. Especially Ryan Clark.

Kelly isn't going anywhere with his contract and the amount they had to pay O and his goons to leave.

If your in the program you better get aligned with Kelly or your on your way to out of alignment and out of LSU FB.

The number one rule of journalism used to be never report rumors. Always do due diligence and verify. Today the number one rule of journalism is take what ever rumor you overhear and run with it, facts be damned.

Stephens source is that idiot Ryan Clark

It would have to be. The only other possibility would be Marcus Spears, and he doesn't seem like the type to spread baseless innuendo as "fact".

It wouldn't be all that surprising if some weren't "fond" of Kelly given that just about all of the players were recruited to LSU by another staff. That's human nature that essentially every new HC has to go though. If you are winning it is not a huge deal (I'm sure the USC players aren't all that upset with Riley). But if you are losing, the old regime's players have a tendency to compare the current staff to the old one that brought them to LSU.

Les took over for Saban in an era where free transferring didn't exist. He also retained some of Saban's staff and won immediately. So there wasn't cause for a lot of dissent. Ed was on the staff already when he got the permanent job and kept much of Les's staff in tact. So again, not much cause for dissent.

Despite other coaching changes in the past, this is the first time in 20+ years the LSU program has undergone a complete revamp from top to bottom.

Is this really surprising? Look at how many posters aren’t already “fond” of Kelly? Is it too much to imagine that “some” players and admin that are as invested or even more so into the program are also not happy with Kelly?

This board won't admit it, but very few people like Brian Kelly.

He was widely panned on this very forum for years over "killing a kid" so it shouldn't be surprising other fans and coaches shite on him

I’ve noticed this too. Literally everywhere I go, if college football comes up and they aren’t an LSU fan, they make a point to say they don’t like BK

I 100% believe that. I don't even like him and he's our coach. Could easily see him trying to be a god here and it rubbing the admin the wrong way because he's not a likeable guy. But we don't pay him to be likeable, we pay him to be successful.

You only get to do that when you're a winner. So far, he isn't winning.

Stephen A just says and acts ridiculous for ratings. He has said this in multiple interviews. If you listen to him outside of ESPN he is actually a pretty well spoken individual. However CFB isn’t something he really follows, and the game last week was prob the first glimpse he’s seen of the tigers this season. And let’s be honest last week was pitiful for us.

The same administration that hired him less than a year ago? You can look at the way he's recruiting rn and know that this is bullshite. Maybe Stephen A got his intel from some of the idiots that post on here way too often.

You mean the players left over from a coach who gave no shits after winning it all and lacked discipline and structure? I can see them not liking someone bringing in structure and wanting to hold them accountable. So I don't think he is going out of the limb saying that. Regardless, frick SAS

There’s something going on. The players only meeting, now this information is being spread. I really don’t think SAS would just make this up out of the blue to sabotage LSU. People need to get their heads out if the sand

There are very few people in this country I dislike more than Ryan Clark. No idea if he has anything to do with this story and I don't care. Frick that dude.
