State will try to hire a proven HC who has been to Omaha. They view themselves as a top 5 job in the country.

Southern is one of those jobs, everyone was hand selected and stayed till retirement. Doubt he would leave. Pete Taylor, Denson, Palmer, Berry and now Ostrander. My entire life in those 5 coaches at usm. It’s a job he can stay til retirement too.

It's not unreasonable to call them at least a top 10 job. The facilities, fans, commitment to the program from the school and donors - it's definitely one of the top tier jobs in college baseball. I say this as someone who hates State
