Standing Room Only at The Box

I have tickets to a few games this year some of which are standing room only. Does anyone have any advice for the best SRO places? Some of them I’d expect to find seats but there are a few games that I think will be packed that I could only buy SRO tickets.

There is an app to upgrade your seats.
Better off buying a real seat on stubhub. Standing the whole time gets old. Especially when there are tons of empty seats on a Sunday.

You'll want to move around if you're standing up. It's not a bad option, but you can't spend the entire game standing in the same spot.
What's the app?

These are scenarios where it’s sold out. I bought actual seats where I could. For example the Florida Saturday game is sold out. Stub hub has a few but at really high prices so I just got SRO. I’m going to the 3 game series for Florida and have seats for game 1 and 2. Figured I’d tough it out for game 3 if it’s a good series. I thought about bringing a small tripod seat to sit in but doubt it’s allowed. Lol.
Wish the Box had a berm in the outfield.

just go sit down in empty seats and move when/if the owner of the seat arrives.

I stand right behind home plate when I get SRO. I wish Tiger Stadium had some sort of SRO option. Like an open air section where you can see the field. It would be cool.

This... with the exception of a few of the really big home games there's always empty seats scattered around. I'd just wait until after the first of second inning and go sit. Just be sure to move of the seat owners do show up .

It's not.

SRO isn’t bad. There are always empty seats for you to sit in after a couple innings

I have always found a seat with a SRO ticket.

1. Most games, including SEC games, have empty seats scattered around the stadium.
2. Occasionally we have a full house but it is very rare. If it does happen it will be opening night or a big SEC game on Friday or Saturday.
3. Sunday games always have empty seats no matter who we are playing.

For sure.
We've been season ticket holders at the box for 20 yrs. You can sit anywhere available/accessible with the SRO ticket with exception to the Gold Seats. However, If you stand in the concourse next to a Marshall(checking tickets) on a Weeknight or Sunday game, they'll often tell you go take a seat down there if you want. Just be nice and know your baseball(they don't like loud or indifferent dipshits in the Golds).

All me and my dad had for the stony brook game was SRO. We arrived like 15-20 minutes before first pitch and we were confined all the way down the 1st base line bleachers, to bad we frickin lost

When I use to go with my dad we always stood up either in the outfield on the steps or down the left field line. Craziest was Stoney brook when Moore hit the homer to tie.

There’s always seats, just be ready for the billy badass event people to bitch at you if you plan on standing up. BEHIND THE LINE

No seats allowed in SRO. After the 4th inning you can move to an empty silver or green seat. You cannot sit in purple or gold seats. Two best places to stand are behind 206 or behind 217.
