Kim DGAF who from Philly
If it’s the same team, then that highlights how frickin good Kim is
The fans can scream and yell and cheer all we want. We don’t play the game.
If the team isn’t prepared and comes out getting it’s arse kicked it don’t matter how many folks are in the arena
We from da boot we ain’t scared neither

Maybe she meant it in the way you guys are perceiving it, I didn’t hear it? It’s a quote and could also simply mean that if Fargas was able to bring this type of excitement to LSU she’d still be here?
Like it could very well be a slight toward Fargas’s ability to coach or bring this level of excitement to LSU as well. Not simply putting it all on the fans or the program but also saying if she was able to bring this to LSU, she’d still be coaching there.
Then I would agree. If Fargas was the same type of coach that Mulkey is, then she could have but she obviously isn’t and couldn’t. Which is why we hired Mulkey. End of story! It really doesn’t need to be said at all though because she was given that opportunity and failed miserably!

The lack of achievement and results from Fargas are on her. Can’t blame the system for that.

You like watching uncoordinated lesbian girls throw up layup misses, and air ball shots? You don’t like to see dunks? Couldn’t be me man.

Staley pissed she has to play against Mulkey in conference. Fargas was given 10 years and she sucked.

Its a snide remark by dawn for sure, not sure how its racist though
Just take the temperature of the current time, what people think they can say. She’s implying Vargas didn’t get the support because she’s black and Mulky is because she’s white.
KMs accomplishments themselves shows why any school would support her efforts. Dawn knows this. This comment was exactly what she meant. A backhanded way of claiming lsu is racist.
I don’t find it to be racist, but equally disgusting behavior.

Sounds like she's never been around a championship coach and a winning program, but then again she played for Fargas so....
Huh?

I think this is being insinuated by our fanbase. Maybe she did mean it that way. But there is nothing clear that it is racist.

Who cares about women’s basketball? It’s of no interest to anyone outside the players, staff and family. None. It’s awful.
I don't pretend to a huge women's basketball fan, but you're clearly wrong. The large crowd there last night proves that and it can be very exciting when two good teams go at it. Also, you sound like a little bitch.

LSU's average attendance increased over 1000 per game when Fargas first came to LSU from the coach the year before. They were averaging over 4000 at that point per game. So she had pretty good attendance. The attendance dipped as her teams became less successful and never made it past the Sweet 16.
Staley's comment was odd considering that Fargas had a losing record last year. As a sports coach, I am sure she is aware that when you lose or don't win a lot, the level of excitement from fans won't be that good.

You're reaching WAY over reality on this one, friend. There is no way to misunderstand what she said. She's saying that Fargas didn't get the same support. That cannot be interpreted as "she wasn't able to bring the same level of excitement".
And she's pulling that straight out of her butt. Mulkey does not have more "support" from the university, but is generating more FAN support because, unlike Fargas, she is actually doing a good job. Fargas drained the life out of that program, and was given a decade to figure it out. For ANYONE to claim that Fargas wasn't given enough of ANYTHING, is an outright lie.

Takes one to know one, dipshit. I can promise you Kim Mulkey doesn’t give one frick about Staley being from Philly. Staley poured gasoline on a house fire and she’s stuck inside that mother fricker.

Racist bitch! We know what she meant!

Her team would have lost if the refs had called flagrant on throwing elbows.
That game was awfully called. SCar centers were throwong elbows

Man I just wanted to see Newby or Gusters lay one of them out for that shite, they kept doing it b/c the refs didn’t do shite about it

If Mulkey or any other white coach would have said this exactly as Staley did about the same situation the media would have blown it up for what it was...a back handed racist comment...
