I said this in a mens thread. Mulkey is the best college basketball coach in the conference mens and womens. It isn’t really that close.

Staley is 2 deep with 5 stars and just had a fricking reality check on what a real coach can do.

There's a cause and effect with support and success.
We gave Fargas all the support and resources she needed to be successful for many years. The problem is as the years went along, the team got worse and it became impossible to get the support needed, because the product didn't justify it. When this point is reached, a school has almost no choice but to make a change.

I believe Fargas wasn't a bad coach, but a very poor recruiter and we just didn't have the players to be competitive.

Y’all expected her to bow to mulkey with the question that was asked. She basically said the team is no different other than some transfers. The crowd and support of the team plays more of a factor than hiring a big name coach.

I don't agree with his statement but of course Staley is going to speak up for her friend as would anyone. But don't think it isn't a competitive advantage to have her on the sideline as opposed to Kim. It's like you guys took one part of my statement and ran with while completely ignoring the other half. Sometimes you have to question your agenda. Everything doesn't have to be a racist statement. You can't get mad when other people point out things that could be considered racist and offensive (when sometimes they obviously are) and then point at this and assume it to be. Being awfully hypocritical to me. But everyone is entitled to their opinion. And don't care if you agree or not. I won't be insensitive to anyone else's opinions or be disrespectful to people if I disagree.
