Spears replacement

Anyone have an idea on who’s replacing spears for the star, cause I think we all saw jimcoily is not the answer. Maybe it’s jhase thomas or they move him to fs and let cooley play it.

I like the idea of Benefield playing star. Cooley and Thomas as your two safeties.

I think on most downs Cooley moves to star and Thomas plays safety. Then on third and longs Jackson comes in and either replaces one of the backers or Thomas.

It won’t be long now…. Might even be this game but Thomas won’t be coming off the field.
He came in and literally played the best of any defender on the field.
It’s going to be hard to pull him off the field no matter the situation. He’s appears to be that good.

I don’t understand why Jimcoily, a LB/S hybrid, was the middle safety on the last play of the first half.

I think they were just trying to figure it out on the fly. We didn’t see Jimcoily in that position again in the second half.

I get it, it’s a chaotic situation. Just a shame because you know Spears isn’t getting sucked in by the underneath stuff and allowing that throw.
