We saw that Jimcoily isn't the answer to play deep safety, maybe. He had a bad play because he froze up after seeing Trinidad lock eyes with him and start running, and he got beat. It could be an indictment of him as a player, but it also could just be a learning moment for him. I noticed a few times when he was closer to the LOS that he either filled his gap well in the running game or passed a guy along well in zone coverage. He's a good, young athlete. Would prefer Jhase Thomas come in when we need one of those guys to play that deep safety spot, but I'm definitely not giving up on Jimcoily because he got beat a couple times in his first meaningful action against the Heisman frontrunner.
