Again, it’s an observation, not “acting like” anything. However, I understand that nuance isn’t a strong suit for false bravado blowhards.

That’s why I thought they would send us to NC State. The Tommy White connection there would have been pretty interesting.

NC St won 2 of 3 over NC in their series in mid/late April. Fans need to calm down.

I guess so much for beating them twice meaning much to the committee.

There is no S-curve for baseball. They don't seed 2 seeds like that. Indiana State has an RPI of 10 and is playing at the #2 national seed.

It would be nice to see more respect paid to the SEC considering it’s far and away the strongest baseball conference.

That’s why the SEC got 11 bids and 5 of the top 7 seeds.

Florida had a favorable draw? Stillwater has the big 12 and big 10 champs and Oklahoma state is really good. Florida won’t come out of there. They shouldn’t be in the tourney in the first place.

It definitely doesn't appear as though we are a strong #2 having to go to the overall 4.

Only time will tell. Vandy at Clemson seems to be a tough draw for Clemson, Wake at ECU will be tough for ECU. There are a lot of good matchups.

The committee loves storylines as we know.

That’s my thinking behind the possible LSU/Arizona matchup as well as Tenn/Wake Forest.

It doesn’t matter anymore. It’s all even, focus on taking first two games and go from there.

Yes, that’s an explanation for how LSU ended up in UNC’s Regional, but it’s not necessarily satisfying. I don’t think the NCAA had it out for LSU, but I do think they should devise a better system of placement for 2-seeds. I get the reason there is no S-curve is for geographic placement, but I think the non-geographic placements should be more thoughtful. And if geography is important, then be consistent. UNCW should be at UNC. SC should be at Clemson.

I guess beating them twice in Hoover didn’t mean much to the committee.
