This post is way off and just plain dumb.

First off, LSU Baseball Team is losing around 20 players this summer off of the 2026 team. 8 through portal transfer, 9 are out of eligibility and 3-4 to the MLB draft.
CJJ has about 20 freshmen in the incoming class, of which he expects 10-12 to make it to campus and be a part of next year's team. The rest will most likely sign MLB contracts.
So, to make up the difference, he has signed 8 players from the portal so far and I expect maybe 1 or 2 more pitchers may sign.
This put us real close to the number of players we had on last year's team.
When CJJ recruits, either through the portal or HS; he is always looking for the best players and players that will fit LSU's program.
He is doing exactly what he needs to be doing at this time.

It was my understanding no more players can enter the portal after midnight July 2nd, but if you entered and are already in the portal, you can still sign with anybody! Correct me if I’m wrong. There’s still a lot of players in the portal who have not committed to another team

I felt like beating UNC today on their home field was gonna be very tough, even with Holman pitching. We’re a top 20 team at best but UNC is a legit top 8 team. We had our chances to blow the game open, but we couldn’t do it! Considering how we turned
our season around after the midpoint, I’m very pleased with this team to be where they are right now. We’re going to be much better next year.
