Probably not this year, but it's on my list to visit the city and attend a game. Hope y'all enjoy.

Can we join? We are having issues finding passes or spots to tailgate. We are willing to pay.

I'll be there! Coming up from Charleston. If you are looking for a higher end steak house go to "Hall's Chophouse". It's right across from the capital building. The original is in Charleston, and they have restaurants in Summerville and Columbia.

If you are staying in Charleston and driving up there are tons of great food options in CHS!

Columbia itself sucks...and shuts down at like 9pm unless you go to 5 points, but it will be overrun with gameCOCKS..... might not be too much fun for a Tiger fan.

Been to three games at SCarolina. Very average to below average experience, both the town and stadium. Going to State is a better overall experience than Columbia. Only place in the SEC that I have been to that was worse was Little Rock.

Motor City Supply Co in downtown Columbia is really good.

The zoo is nice in Columbia. Other than that, I hate Columbia.

Go to Greenville or Charleston for stuff to do.

I'll be there, will be my 3rd time. As SEC road venues g, I've been to all but Mizzou and the two new ones it's a nice trip, I'd rate it solidly middle of the pack for overall experience.

It's hotter in Houston during September, than S. Carolina. Should be a good setting for a college football game, starting at 11 am, the heat will probably be the same as the Vandy and Utah St games in 2019

The only downside is the stadium is off campus. Not far, but not walkable.

I’m going with some friends for the first time but didn’t know this. Does everyone tailgate around the stadium then?

I'm in this biotch. Staying in Charleston a night, then heading to Myrtle Beach.

Why leave Charleston for Myrtle Beach. I’ve been to both several times and Charleston is far superior.
