Need Rory to screw up.

Let's put you out there in the 4th round at Augusta with a set of clubs playing against the world's best.
Good luck....

I would love to cash a check for placing 10th or 15th in the Masters. I would be set financially for a few years with a top 10 finish.

OMG.
Burns missed a birdie putt by less than 2 inches on the 18th to break into the Top 3. Poor guy. That’s gotta hurt.

He played great all weekend! Wire to wire inside the top 5. Not an easy thing to do. That second hole hurt today.

Tied was 7th when his best previous finish was T27th. That's not choking. Rory won his first green jacket on what his 17th try and Sam has only played in what 4 previous Masters. You are an Idiot.

Poor bastard only made $725,625 today.
I don't know how he gets by on that puny amount.

It’s like people on this board just wait for bad shite to happen so they can post about it.
It’s really fricking weird.
After over 20 years posting on Tigerdroppings, I've concluded that many posters on here are lifelong LOSERS who have never accomplished anything noteworthy in their life.
The only way they can feel better about their own miserable failures in life is to criticize others and point out their flaws or mistakes, ad nauseam.
I estimate that description applies to approximately 35% of the posters on here.

Lol, Rory is the biggest choker amongst the elite golfers in the game
More people have walked on the moon than have won a career grand slam. Even less people have won a masters back to back. Yeah huge choker.

frick Rory. The only true champion is the man who had the insight to build Augusta National - tGOAT himself Robert Tyre Jones Jr. the only true Grand Slam winner IMO as he won all 4 majors at the time in a single season and 13 by the time he retired at 28. That is THIRTEEN.
Nobody has done that.

quote:good grief, man. No one on this board is saying we're as good as Burns. Posters are just commenting on Sam's inability to close on Sunday.

My guy- he just made more money in four days than you will in 3 years.

Well you should watch entire 18 holes. He played like a champion. 1 hole basically ruined chance to win. Tied for 4th in Masters!

He’s already won five times on the PGA Tour at 29 years old.
He closed on Sunday those five times.
Or maybe you’re talking about occasionally not being able to catch the greatest golfers playing the game in the final round?

I'm talking about majors, with respect to closing on Sunday. Burns is among the greatest golfers in the game and has been ranked in the top 15/20/30 for the past 5 years, and has been on the Presidents Cup and Ryder Cup teams.
